I like that this tool has several popular sizes on one die, saves you looking for smaller more portable tools that can easily get misplaced. For those that don't know, when you solvent weld plastic pipe you need to take the burrs off the pipe that got there when you cut it. If you don't you run the risk of the connection not staying glued, of small rough plastic edges catching things you don't want sticking, such as hair as that will cause your pipes to eventually backup, or if it is a supply pipe, small plastic bits breaking loose and getting in your drinking water. This only cleans the outside of the pipe, you still need to clean the interior of the pipe.It does take two hand to use this, one to hold it the other to spin the pipe, or vice versa. I suppose you could try to mount this on something solid so you can just move the pipe and the tool is stationery. This tool sure beats using a utility knife, which doesn't work well, or sand paper which works better but takes more time. The tool feels heavy but not too heavy, it doesn't feel cheaply made.

I was in the process of adding more irrigation pipes in my backyard and wanted to make sure I installed everything properly. I noticed this tool and thought it would help with joining the pieces together. In reality I found that it did help, but not really a time saver. I also didn’t find not using it caused any delay or wasted cuts either. In summary, it might help those who are inexperienced with working with PVC, or do an awful lot of this type of work.

Easy to use. just fit the end of the pipe in the tool and rotate. it will deburr the outer edge of the pipe easily. Hase several grooves for each major size of pipe. My only complaint is that it could be a little cheaper, but it's still a good but because it will save lots of time over trying to use a utility knife to deburr the outer edge of the pipe. The tool itself is well-made. The body is cast aluminum and the blade is steel and replaceable.

I like this deburring tool. It works as expected, and it is quite small and portable. I think the price is a bit high, but overall it is a good product. If you are happy with this price, I think this could be a good purchase.

This tool works great - it snaps onto the cut pipe end, a light press and spin and it cuts a clean bevel on PVC - tested it on some crusty scrap that's been sitting out for years, in 1-1/2", 2" and 3" both plumbing and electrical PVC.The spring-loaded bit keeps side pressure on the pipe, so it will cut even slightly out of round. It even worked well on a crooked cut! It also stays on the end of the pipe when you let go to turn your hand.

Does what it’s supposed to do. Works great for deburring pipe. Easy to use.

I have plans to run a long length of 2 inch PVC pipe from a wet area in my front yard, down to the lower spot at the back of my property. My plan is to use the 2" pipe for draining the area out front, by putting it under the ground a bit with drain spout at ground level. When I received this item, I was excited because I know how time consuming it is to correctly glue the pvc together when the edges are sharp with burrs. Here's the problem with this item, it takes two hands to control the tool, leaving nothing to turn the pipe around. Even if you could hold the tool with one hand, it's almost impossible to "spin" the pipe around to de-burr it? The only way I found, was to have my buddy spin the pipe around while I pressed the deburring tool into the end of the pipe. Really need two people to use this right.

The “JYINCPED Deburring Tool for Plastic Pipe, PVC Pipe Reamer Deburrs Six Pipe Sizes 1 1/4-Inch-4-Inch” is a solid tool. It works well at deburring the outside of the pipe so you can slide the fittings on, but you still have to use a box knife for deburring the inside. I work alone and find it easier to set the tool on the floor and hold it with my feet while I spin the pipe.
