Each unit in the pair measures 8" in diameter, equipped with a 1" high temperature voice coil and directable 1/2" polymer dome tweeter for a full, rich sound. These speakers pump out up to 250 watts max and are sold as a pair.

Bought a total of 4 speakers (2 packs of 2), installed these in the ceiling of a community theatre I volunteer at. As it is a drop ceiling install, purchased 4ft x 8ft 1/8in plywood to gusset the tiles. Wiring from amplifier was easy to connect and the terminals seem to have a solid connection with wires. Haven't done any eq'ing to ensure the best sound is heard, but, out of box sound is quite good and fills the space.

Nice sound but the plastic dries out and becomes peanut brittle after 3.5 years. I live in Arizona but they are in the patio ceiling in the shade but still wore out.

These speakers have exceeded my expectations. I added them to my theater ceiling as an afterthought....I had a 5.1 setup in place and decided to add these for 7 channel use. My ceiling is black so my choices were very limited without resorting to painting/modding a set of speakers. I've never really thought very highly of Pyle, but went with them since they were black and the correct size.For the use I have for them, they couldn't be better. They don't get driven very hard and actual sound quality isn't a huge deal since they are basically effects speakers, but I did some side by side with a much more expensive set of similarly built and sized ceiling speakers and I have to say these seem to have better sound to my ears. Nothing scientific, but on a casual basis I would pick the Pyles for music.

We recently installed 4 of these speakers into a new patio and we are very satisfied. Sound and look great.
