Fit my 79 c 10 with no grinding lower control arms for my 15 in rallies

Let me start by saying I read the reviews before I bought these. I expected to bring to top of the caliper mount. What I didnt expect were grinding the lower control arm. Then the tie rods still hit the wheels at full lock. Which brings me to the third surprise. The turning radius is now much larger. I am using stock 15x8 steel wheels. Well, I was. I had to rob the 17s off my camaro and buy adapters because I was tired of grinding on everything.In the end I have the desired effect. Cant for the life of me figure out why nobody casts them with stock wheels in mind.

Got my burb slammed. Since I didn't do a drop spring with these my geometry and ride quality didn't change, just moved it closer to the ground. My work truck/fleet suburban has the 15x6 steelies, stock 235/75 tire and it pretty much did away with the fender gap. Perfect for a bolt on. Only issue I had was the hard line end of the brake hose going on to the caliper needed to be bent differently to clear the upper ball joint area of the spindle. By moving the hub upward it positioned the caliper closer to the upper ball joint. Be careful bending the end of the line as to not kink it. Otherwise they fit great, machined surfaces were nice and after about 1000 miles of driving on them I have no complaints. I'll order another set for my other suburban as well.
