I never like the Broan OEM switches on the range hood because they felt like they would for sure fail one day because of daily use and grease from stir-frying. The high-speed mode of the fan switch stopped working for a while because I could not rock it over to make contact for current to go through. These after market switches have 4 times the current rating and better switch rocking mechanism with a solid feel. The rocking mechanism has like a lock-in-place feel giving you a sure feeling that you turned it on, unlike the OEM ones. Let’s see if these switches will outlast the fan motor.

I bought this to see if it would work on an older Jenn Air downdraft stove. Had to modify the hole slightly and use a meter to figure out what was hot and what was neutral. Worked great and I have both the fan working and the oven light. Much cheaper than what is otherwise available and it works both fan and light with the on off on switch.
