Great Nets. Excellent for catching blugill and small catfish. 4 stars because the line that came pre-attached to the trap frayed and broke off of one if the traps. I had to go diving in a lake to get my net back from the deep blue.

This QualyQualy Fishing Bait Trap is well made. It is good quality, good size, and easy to set up. My son and I like to go fishing and crabbing - this trap works great. Plus I love that it folds up, making it easy to travel with.

I use this off the dock to catch small critters on the bottom of the river. Crab and small fish were unable to escape the trap. I simply put a piece of chicken, strapped it down and was able to attract enough to catch.It comes with a retrieval line which seemed pretty nifty. The trap can also be easily transported as it simply collapses into a smaller square.

I haven't tried bait trap this for fish yet, but it's great for crawfish. I have a float that I use and drop this into a lake from a canoe and come back later and pick it up. Normally, for crawfish you use much smaller traps, but this seems to work pretty well. I usually place a can with canned corn in it and poke a bunch of holes in the can, but this comes with a bait container I can put it in, which is a nice touch. The crawfish are hanging on the side still when I pull this out when I use corn.I've been considering on how to use this for fish or crab but I haven't tried it yet. I live an hour from the ocean, so I don't have the time to go there and set this and come back to get it. We have plenty of streams and lakes here though that are full of crawfish, so I'll get plenty of use from this trap.The trap is made well and comes with a bait cage and bag and a rope. The only thing missing, that I think should come with this, would be a float.

I wouldn’t know a good fish trap from a bad one …never used one but thought I’d see If we can catch some river pike for Striper bait with it … haven’t tried it yet … seems to be built well ..
