Ham radio folks—QRP, ARES/RACES guys—you’re already familiar with Anderson Powerpoles and how they work. Bet you wished someone made a nice panel-mount frame for the standard two-terminal, ARES/RACES-compliant, Anderson DC power connection, right? Well, this offering from JacEnergy is a potential candidate for the job.The frame has a round, threaded body and comes with a matching plastic nut. bore a hole in your instrument panel, dash, battery box, or what-have-you, insert the frame, spin on the nut, and you’re done. JacEnergy includes an O-ring to load behind the face flange. It will offer some moisture-resistance and provide helpful friction to keep the fixture from spinning around in its mounting hole. The front side is covered with a removable, soft, rubber-like, cap. I wouldn’t classify this as “waterproof,” but the cap certainly adds a useful degree of water resistance.Set into the frame are red and black 45-AMP Anderson Powerpole look-alike shells. The kit includes the shells in the frame, two extra shells to mate to the frame, four contacts, and insulating “boots”. Despite the seller’s claims to the contrary, I don’t think you can fit 10 AWG into the supplied contacts. I strongly suspect 12 AWG is the best you can do.I can’t say for certain that the connector parts are genuine Anderson; I’ve run into quite a few import clones. If not, they’re well-made enough to suit their purpose.

I use a fair number of Anderson Connectors - they are very flexible and easy to use -This listing boldly markets these as 45A connectors - be aware that the connector system is rated for a max of 15/30/45A depending on the terminals and wire you use - This did not include the #10 terminals needed for 45AThe kit does include a weatherproof cover for the receptacle and the weather protection boot and back cover for the plug - nice to include both. The round housing is much easier to mount than the square or rectangular ones - it does require that you tighten the retaining ring well to keep it from rotating - and this is where this kit lost stars - the ring only tightens slightly before slipping and being loose again - there's a size issue in the ring or the housing. I always glue the back to keep things tight, so it will still be usable for me -Nice kit - needs a little QC on the mounting but includes everything for both sides of the connection.

I have printed these before with good success but this one is especially nice with the rubber boots, seals, and extra set of connectors. I tried them with my other cables with genuine Anderson connectors and they fit well. Winner winner. If you want to replace the connectors you just need to press out the roll pin.

This is a much nicer way to mount Anderson PowerPoles in an enclosure than the method I was using previously. Drilling a round hole is so much easier than nibbling out a rectangle. This set includes another set of PowerPole connectors to mount on a cable and a nice weatherproof cover for those as well. Make sure you double check the packaging for all parts - at first I thought I was missing a set of contacts, but they were just packaged separately in a different bag.I wouldn't consider this to be waterproof, but it is definitely suitable for field use in the rain.

I like the small size, matching the size of 12V cigarette lighter ports, so it is easy to use. I like that the supplied pins accommodate 12-16 AWG wires, making them the 30A size pins. I love the super soft silicone cover, suitable for outdoor use on RV's, etc. And I like the included extra connectors and pins for making up both ends of a cable. The bulkhead can fit through up to 1/2" thick panels which is nice too. I feel this is a great value and a very handy size of bulkhead power connector.

Really nice Anderson connector pair with thru-hole mount. These are so handy. I use them for my portable Ham radio boxes. These are just like name-brand Anderson connector but at a much better price. They mount snug and the connectors mate like they should I don't think the cap is weather proof enough to leave it out in the rain but it's good enough to keep light moisture and dust out of it.

This Anderson PowerPole connector works just like the original from powerwerx. It's only a couple of bucks cheaper, but it does include some extra connectors.

Great easy to use item to plug in my anderson cables outside to the inside. Many gaskets and grommets on both sides and the cap fits well over it. I like this as a battery box connector stored outdoors. I love that it comes with extra anderson connector tip, as getting it by itself could cost several dollars by itself, so they do include as much value as possible.
