Perfect fit on my 7.5hp Mercury. Folks often order the bigger model but this one fits the smaller 3.9, 4.0 hp 7.5 hp so don't confuse the two sizes !!!Pricy to say the least at $58 but in line with boating expenses...BOAT ... BREAK OUT ANOTHER THOUSAND......

Would not fit either of my fuel tanks. While it was a close fit I could not make it work. I believe it was poorly machined.
