This exhaust fan and controller kit works great. I like that it's an all-in-one, integrated solution to cool a media cabinet. Everything that's needed is included in the box, so there's no waiting for additional stuff to be shipped from thousands of miles away. And, all the components work well together, so I don't have to worry if the temperature sensor is going to talk to the fan controller. Plus, as this is something that's going to be plugged in and running 24/7, I like having the peace of mind in knowing that the device works as a complete unit. The fan is quiet at all speeds. It's not like a PC fan that'll spin up like a jet engine. Even at the maximum, it's hard to tell it's on. The controller was easy to set up, and the operations are intuitive. Plus, there's room to grow as this unit can control multiple fans. The temperature control works flawlessly, and I like having the remote probe. This let me put the probe near the receiver, where most of the heat is generated, so the fan can be engaged at a low level as soon as the receiver is powered up. The whole system is powered by a simple wall wart. Plus, this component is UL listed for safety.

This media cabinet cooling fan is easy to install (using the right tools) and intuitive to use, and it does just what it says it does, provides ventilation for your media cabinet. It can be installed with the fan blowing air into the media cabinet or you can easily reverse the fan itself and use as an exhaust fan to pull warmer air out of the cabinet. I have mine installed so it is blowing cooler air into my media cabinet right on my son's Playstation console and although I can't speak to its longevity since I have only had it installed a couple days (hence the 4 star review), so far it is working well and doing its job as expected in keeping the console cooler than before.
