Made the stitches of a recent long armed quilt pop. Shockingly soft for wool. Great texture.

No where in the description does it mention polyester but on the insert it says virgin wool AND polyester!! I would not have ordered this! It is also a very thin loft.

This wool batting is thinner than expected, but works well and easier to quilt on a domestic machine than the thicker wool batting. Liked this option

I used wool batting with a flannel quilt many years ago and my family would fight over it because the “sleepy quilt” was so warm and cozy. I just finished a cotton quilt with this wool batting and while finishing handwork the quilt was on my lap and definitely felt warm and cozy. I was expecting the batting to beard some but I didn’t experience much bearding at all. I will definitely use this batting again.

I no longer use cotton batting since discovering wool. Light, warm, soft, with a beautiful drape and easy to quilt
