I use this tool for dipping and glazing. It grips almost any size of pottery and you can feel safe that your piece won't fall into the glaze.

You get what you pay for…tong tips were really crooked when they were welded on and we almost lost a mug picking it up with these things. Had to straighten them out with pliers.

Product is great, shipping however took a week longer than it was supposed to and set me back on my timeline for glazing

The tongs are well made and sturdy.

These are not a heavy duty dipping tong. The red rubber handle was already cracked when I received them in the mail. They aren’t as durable as a similar looking tong in my local ceramic studio. If you’re only doing lightweight pieces, these would probably be fine, but if you’re expecting studio-quality tongs, look to a bonafide ceramic supplier like Ceramic Shop, Sheffield, etc. for heavier gauge metal and higher quality. Last thing you want is problems when glazing!

Those red plastic bits on the handles slide and twist around making the whole thing unstable in the hand when you’re holding any sized piece.
