I use both the tap and handle locks to deter landscaping water pirates. It makes a big difference in the water bill. I do wish these red handle covers were hinged and made of something other than cheap plastic. This is a good design because of clearance issues when installing with other similar devices out there. I hope these will survive the elements.

It's just a plastic cover, but it does the job and they sent 2 for the price of 1 so I'm happy. It fits quite well over our 2" shut off valve backyard faucet. If the plastic cracks I'll just replace it with the 2nd one they sent. I have no complaints.
