The product itself is great. Meets my needs. BUT, the installation instructions are severely lacking. (at least what I recieved). A couple other sellers sell the same item on Amazon and I looked at their listing and got a much better diagram. I have repaired medical, communication, and weapons systems since '85. I can read a diagram. But if the diagram is not there, I can not. Also you need to cut off the ring terminals on the receivers yellow, black, and white wires to connect them to the solenoids green, black, and blue wires. Why not skip a step and use spade connectors from the receiver straight to the solenoid. That's what I did. Again, it works and I am using it. Just not a good diagram and the connectors already installed by the vendor have to be cut off.

Why do they (manufacturers) do wired?My first one was a nightmare to figure out, wasn't familiar and instructions were horrible. Now, they have plenty of "How To" on these and wouldn't have a problem. GREAT PRODUCT at a reasonable price. Get the right Amps and you shouldn't have a problem.

I wired it exactly according to the schematic. It didn't work. I checked with a voltmeter and the RF remote switch didn't have any output voltage. I then by-passed the remote and hooked up the relay with jumpers and it would not work either. Bummer.

Once one got the wiring all figured out it was easy to wire up. I went for some confusion as the white and yellow wires have ring terminals on them and have no place that they can connect to. One has to cut the ring terminals off and connect spade terminals so they can slide into the solenoid terminals.All of the wiring diagrams I looked at showed the two ring terminals and not one showed spade terminals. Also there was a green wire that connected into itself that was not needed. Not sure why the Company does not install the right terminals.Also if one connects the white and yellow wires as per the diagram one will find that the In and Out are reversed. Pressing Out makes the winch roll in the wires. Now the easy fix is to switch the yellow and white wires so it will work properly for In and Out.I did a test walk and walked about 150 feet away and the remote kept on going. I even hid behind buildings and trees and the remote still was very functional. Both remotes work and that is good for a back up. One minor mute point is that the remotes come with some odd ball small battery that I have never seen before. I am hoping it can be bought later if needed.I hooked up my receiver and solenoid onto a little board so they are now one item and not two where the wires could be pulled apart if one dropped one of the two.

Worked perfectly remotes are a little cheap with a on off switch on the side but for the $ I'm pleased with it
