Paired with the PSA1+ swing arm, this professional USB dynamic microphone delivers everything it promises and more, making it an essential upgrade for your setup. It has a heavy and solid feel.Firstly, the audio quality is exceptional. The super-cardioid pattern effectively minimizes background noise while focusing on the voice, delivering crystal-clear, detailed audio capture. I am ramping up to do podcasts and look to streaming late at night or during the day in a sometimes noisy environment, and the XDM-100 ensures that my voice is always front and center, thanks to its superior room noise rejection capabilities.Including the UNIFY virtual mixing solution as a free add-on is a massive plus. This software allows for complete control over sound sources—including microphone, game, chat, and system audio (I'm still learning)—all within a user-friendly interface. It's incredibly powerful, and mixing everything live without needing additional hardware or software is a significant advantage for any streamer or gamer. As a noob, I have found it to be very simple to learn and tweak. It was not received well when it was first introduced, but Røde went to work and fixed the issues.The microphone comes with a high-quality shock mount, which does an excellent job of isolating it from vibrations and incidental noises that can disrupt recordings. Additionally, the provided pop shield is very effective at reducing plosives, ensuring that your speech remains clear and professional-sounding. Before buying, I watched and listened to plenty of YouTube vids about it and then compared my recorded voice to theirs.Thanks to its plug-and-play USB connectivity, setup is straightforward. RODE really seems to have abandoned the Apple Mac users with their latest UNIFY and USB mics like the XDM-100. I have only had problems w the XDM-100... first it simply could not be adjusted, too little gain, and had a "dull" sound compared to my Shure XV7, NEXT - RODE sent a Unify "BETA" for Mac... It worked on my 2013 Mac Pro - allowed me to get the XDM-100 to sound better but is BETA. I installed on my new M2 Mac Studio and have had nothing but problems. The XDM-100 w Unify (BETA) just locks up... NON USABLE. The using the XDM by itself with Ecamm Live - the mic again keeps locking up, requiring me to pull the USB and reconnect during a live show... THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE RODE! //. I have not heard back from RODE on how to do a clean uninstall of Unify (BETA) ... // I have gone back to using my RELIABLE and GREAT SOUNDING Shure MV7.... // BTW - my new RODE X Streamer X is a paperweight... until it accepts USB mics directly and sees them as a mic SOURCE that we can apply the Apex processing - this is a almost useless device. USB mics sound better... w today's technology. AGAIN RODE is missing the boat...

Kayıt alırken gürültü engelleme ayarlarını kapatarak çok daha temiz kayıtlar aldım. Sessiz bir ortamda kayıt alıyorum. Youtube kanalım için videolarda kullanıyorum.Telefona RODE'un kayıt app yükledim ve type c ile bağlayıp kayıt alıp montajda görüntüye ekliyorum.Adobe Audition üzerinden aldığım kayıtlarda yazılımsal çakışmadan dolayı kayıtlar çok kötü oldu. Rode'un kendi programı veya normal bir program üzerinden kayıt alınca düzeldi.Ağzıma çok yakın tutmasam da edit yaparken audo gain 15 20 verince güzel sesler çıktı.Gerçeğe en yakın sesi bu mikrofon ile aldım. Yaka mikrofonları ile heba olduktan sonra bu mikrofon kalitesini ciddi derecede belli ediyor.İlave olarak son çıkan taşıyıcı ayağı da satın aldım. Gayet memnunum.Ses kalitesini merak edenler youtube üzerinden mert sezgen yazıp kanalımdaki videoları izleyerek fikir edinebilirler.

The mic it's self is great this is my first time with a dynamic mic and the sound I get out of it is miles better then my old one. The software has actually been working for me so that's good. The only problem is it's too heavy for my current boom arm so I need to get a new one soon

The mic is awesome. Built well, and has extremely rich sound consistent with Rodes other dynamic mics.The Unify software, used with this mic, on the other hand, is a disaster.. at best it’s a beta product that Rode is trying to sell you.Given the trade offs, there are other usb mics that fit the bill for a lot less.

I recently purchased this microphone and immediately loved it. I have owned a few USB microphones (HyperX Quadcast and Duocast, Shure MV7) but this mic is my favorite hands down Here is a breakdown of my experience.Packaging - This is premium packaging! The material, presentation and quality are top notch!Build Quality - This mic is a tank and it is build like it. Everything from the shock mount to the pop filter are exceptionally well made. The mic, however, is the star of the show. It's just next level build quality.Setup - Its very plug and play. However, using the Rode Unify software just improves the overall experience.Sound Quality - I mainly use my mic for gaming and streaming and for this purpose this mic delivers like no other. Clear, natural, crisp sound. In combination with the Unify software it is in my opion the best mic in the price range by a mile!Conclusion - If you are on the fence about this mic I assure you its worth the price. You will not be disappointed!

Das XDM-100 ist das eines der besten USB Mikrophon, die ich je hatte. Und ich hatte einige zum Testen! Aber mal der Reihe nach:PROS:- USB C Anschluss (Hallelujah, warum machen das nicht bereits ALLE Hersteller)- Dynamisches Mikro mit Nierencharakteristik! Nicht so ein Käse wie bei anderen Herstellern mit zig Aufnahmecharakteristiken, welche idR nicht genutzt werden- Gebaut wie ein Panzer; im Fall einer Zombieapokalypse meine erste Wahl als Schlagwaffe- PSM Shockmount und generell Umgang mit "Handling" Nebengeräuschen -> phänomenal, vor allem verglichen mit einem Shure MV7, Samson Q2U, Razer Seiren V2 etc. pp- Popschutz: doppelt vorhanden! Im Korb ist bereits ausreichend Schaumstoff verbaut, dass das Gerät auch ohne den Überzieher sehr gut mit Plosivlauten zurecht kommt.- die Software: Einfach nur GEIL! vollwertiger Mixer & virtuelle Geräte um Applikationen auch getrennt an Audioquellen anzubinden (in OBS als CHAT IN, CHAT OUT und GAME) in Shadowplay wird einfach direkt der "Stream Mix abgegriffen"- onboard DSP &Effekte von APHEX mit detaillierten Einstellmöglichkeiten für Kompressor und Gate. (Genial es zu haben; bei Nichtbedarf deaktivierbar)- Gute Sprachqualität, sehr wenig "Noise PickUp" Also auch Ideal in unbehandelten Räumen.Nun aber genug des Lobes und wir werfen mal ein wenig Licht auf die Schattenseiten des XDM-100CONS:- Preis: definitiv der grösste Minuspunkt des XDM...- Gewicht: siehe Preis! Ein guter (und damit teurerer) Boomarm ist Pflicht!- Software ist nicht ohne "Quirx"! TW vergisst die SW Einstellungen oder das virtuelle Audiorouting funktioniert einfach nicht und man muss Unify neustarten!- Mikro ist auch mit EQ sehr sehr sehr basslastig! Vor allem in der direkten Nahbesprechung. Das führt tw sogar dazu, dass es richtig muffig klingt.Neutral- es ist ein dynamisches Mikrofon. Das setzt eine gewisse Nähe zum Mikrofon voraus, sowie eine gewisse "Mikrofondisziplin"NACHTRAG: Leider muss ich wegen der Software Punkte abziehen! Zwar funktioniert diese absturzfrei, jedoch verträgt sich der virtuelle Treiber nicht direkt mit MS Teams (Umweg über NVidia Broadcast schafft hier einen Workaround) Und leider vergisst die Software "Einstellungen". Dies passiert jedoch NUR, wenn die Dokumente Ordner auf ONE Drive liegen! Sobald die Synchronisation beendet wurde, kann man die entsprechende Konfigdatei manuell mittels Editor anpassen und die Einstellungen bleiben auch nach Neustart gespeichert!
