I bought a rigid sander a while ago, and the pad broke. I took it to a repair shop, and they fixed it for $50. After two years, it broke again, and I figured I could probably just replace the pad myself. This couldn’t be easier, just unscrew the screws, and screw this in. And, best of all, this pad is way more grippy than the one I got before.For less than half the price of having someone else do it, you got two pads, so I think I’ll be all set for the next 4 years at least.

I bought these back in 2020 and they worked just fine. All of them have a short life compared to other sanders. bought these on 11-7-2023 and sandpaper would not stick to either one of them. Thought defective so asked for replacement which I promptly got. Sandpaper would just fly off on both new pads. So out of 4 pads none worked. Also ordered a non OEM brand which worked in the past and the new one didn't work either. So now have a good sander that I can't use.

I went to the local swap meet and purchased a used Ridgid 2611 for a great price but when I used it for the first time the sandpaper would stay on the sander but wasn't very snug. I knew I had to buy a replacement backing pad. I saw this set of 2 for a great price and received it in a few days. It took about 5 minutes to taking the old backing pad off and screw the new one on. Now I have a practically brand new sander!
