Free discharge flow capacity: 12 gpm at 35 psi, 18 gpm at 65 psi and 22 gpm at 85 psi.

This review is based on a similar one I purchased (3/4"). I bought this one by mistake, then bought the 3/4" and it worked flawlessly. The adjustable position for the float arm lets you handle just about any position, and can be used to either start flow when water is low (water tank) or the reverse, start flow when the water is too high (for a water powered sump pump, for example).Very happy with the purchase.

If you have a Prochem truckmount with an overflowing water box, swap out the stupid factory unit for this one. I've had this in for 4 years and the rubber nipple is still working just fine and the valve doesn't leak.

The one I was replacing was larger than the one I bought. I had to find a reduction bushing but found one easily and it ultimately worked fine.

Well-built - needs long'ish Float Ball / Stem with 1/4-20 Thread to perform closure at normal pressures.

Leaks, will not seal when float is as high as it can go. Less than a year old, of course it is gone up in price by about 25 % I will not replace with this brand
