I have HVAC gauges for my main R22 based air conditioner and needed these adapters to install a mini-split in my garage. They require more force than I thought they should to tighten down, but they got the job done without excessive leaks. I do not think they are low loss though.

Good enough for homeowner use. Im sure the gasket surface would wear out quickly if being used often, but I dont expect to ever have to replace them considering my use case.

I have a 1972 F100 4x4 with an aftermarket air conditioner installed.The quick release on a feed line under the hood got damaged during some motor repair recently, and I located this adapter package and the angled adapter was precisely the part that required replacement, it is a perfect fit!All that is left to do is to recharge the system and she's ready for summer time.These are quality adapters that seal tight and work right.

I believe these are what I need to connect an r22 gauge set to a r410a minisplit.

Used to pull a vacuum and add refrigerant to a mini split AC system. Had to screw down extremely tight to make work. Once done, it did work well, but was a bit difficult to remove. Lost more refrigerant than wanted to on removal.

Just as the title states. I've been doing hvac work for over 20 years. These are the adapters that you use to add to the adapters that are already on your hoses. Simply tighten the connection to the hose and VERY securely connect this to the service valve in the mini split. The reason that I stated "most" and not all is because there are a few brands out there that do use the standard connection but you should still have these because if you don't have them you cannot check the charge, evacuate, add charge or leak test with nitrogen on systems that need them without them. This is a good deal considering that you get four of them.
