around the middle, inside the jacket is elastic that makes the jacket to small

I like the jacket a lot, the quality, fit and color is great. Unfortunately an ember blew onto it at a camp fire and burned a hole in it. I tried several times to call customer service to see if I can buy a patch that's colored to match and all I have been able to get is an automated voice that tells me there are no agents available and then hangs up on me........

Se ha convertido en una de mis piezas favoritas de equipo. Lo he usado escalando y acampando en el Nevado de Toluca e Iztacciuhtal. Rinde 10 de 10.

UPDATE: After owning it for two years. This has become my go-to cool weather jacket. It remains my go-to jacket in winter too, but in harsh conditions I simply put a windbreaker or rain jacket over it, or a heavy winter jacket over it as needed. The jacket is so light, allows such freedom of movement, and looks so great, that I find myself grabbing for it 90% of the time. I did get a small tear on the cuff, just the 1/4 trim piece on the outside of the cuff, but I can fix that with a few stitches. But I did dock it a star for that reason, and the hood lacking a drawstring. Otherwise, I am very impressed and really enjoying it. It gets me out exercising more, and that is a great thing. This is a nice ultra-light athletic jacket with many nice features, just be aware of its limitations. This is not a do-everything jacket. It is very light weight and compressible, but also lacks any real warmth in serious conditions. The entire side of the jacket, including inside of arms is one big stretch panel, which is great for movement, but it also leaks heat like a sieve. At the first sign of real cold or real wind, the jacket requires a wind proof layer over it, or a more insulating layer underneath. Like I said, I do like the jacket, and am glad I got it. It is a great active-wear layer to have, I just always keep my rain pants, rain jacket, and warm vest with me so I can make adjustments as needed.Pros:-light-compressible (rolls up into the hood)-hood is nicely implemented, keeps the neck warm (though face opening is not adjustable)-looks good-very flexible and stretchy, does not hinder movement at all-adjustable bungee around waist seals out cold-stretch side panel moves well and breathes wellcons:-stretch side panel does not insulate.-hood face opening is not adjustable (when elastic stretches over time it will no longer seal out cold) A light bungee with cord lock would be a nice addition)

I'm 5ft 9, 11.5 stone and 38 to 40 in chest and the medium size fits absolutely perfect, like made to measure. Remember, it's a Rab and there's nothing better than a Rab. I have a down filled Rab for proper cold weather conditions which dates back to the very early days of the company, and it is still as good in every way, including wear, as the day it was bought. They might be pricey but, they are so worth it.Regarding stowage, you can just stuff it into it's own hood. This jacket perfectly serves it's purpose. Obviously, I highly recommend it.
