First, I'd like to say that this is a must-have for wine lovers. It ensures no watered-down wine and is perfect for large parties. The feature that impressed me the most is that it chills wine in seconds. No more waiting for the wine to cool down or adding ice that will dilute the taste. Highly recommended!

This wine chilling carafe is indeed an attractive addition to a wine lover's collection, offering a unique method of chilling wine as it is poured. The concept of chilling wine through the slots over the ice reservoir is clever and effective to some extent. However, there are several aspects that left me wanting more, especially given the price point. Here are some pros and cons based on my experience:Pros:+ Innovative Chilling Mechanism: The stainless steel chilling core is a smart idea to chill wine without watering it down as it passes through the slots over the ice reservoir.+ Aeration: It does aerate the wine as you pour, which is a nice touch to enhance the flavor and aroma. That said, I rarely NEED to aerate a white or rosé wine, eh?+ Capacity: It holds a full bottle of wine.Cons:- Quality of Materials: For the price point, I expected the glass and overall build to feel more premium. The glass, however, seems a bit on the cheaper side.- Fit: Sometimes the fit between the parts isn't the best, which can be a bit frustrating.- Condensation: On hot, humid days, which is typically when I'd prefer a chilled wine, the glass collects a significant amount of condensation, making it a bit messy to handle.- Price Point: Given the issues with material quality and fit, the price point feels a bit high for what you get.- Better Alternatives: I find myself preferring to use my 750ml vacuum-sealed stainless "water" bottle with pre-chilled wine to avoid the condensation issue altogether.While the carafe is functional and the chilling mechanism is clever, the quality of materials and the fit could certainly be improved, especially for the price. The idea is there, but the execution falls a bit short of expectations. Overall, I rate it 3 stars - it does the job but lacks the finesse and quality I’d expect for a product at this price point. Plus, I've found a simpler solution for keeping wine cold that suits my needs better for half the price and avoids the messy condensation.

When we know we have friends dropping by, we can plan to have wine chilling in the fridge. But when they drop-in, what can you do to get some chilled wine in a hurry. Sure, you can toss the bottle in the freezer (where you risk forgetting about it, as I have done, and you end-up with wine slushies), or you can use an ice bucket - which can make a watery mess. No I hoped to find another option and I think I have with this Rabbit wine chiller that I found in the Vine program.As another reviewer mentioned, use care when removing the three parts of the chiller from their box. You get the carafe, and the stainless steel chilling core and its cap. Because of the inherent narrowness of the carafe and core, you will find washing the items to be a tad tricky (unless you have a long bottle brush). I think the product is of very good quality. The carafe is made of borosilicate glass which has some resistance to thermal expansion (sadly, not much resistance to breakage so use care to not hit it against anything hard). The instructions, such as they are, are printed on the side of its box. It amount to fitting the core inside the carafe (make sure it is straight and snug), fill the core with ice, fit the cap on the core (snugly), and pour your wine over the cap so it trickles into the bottle through the aerators. Easy, right?And mostly it is. Again, as cited by other reviews, the edge of the core, where the ice/cap go, is sharper than I think it should be. Rabbit with have made a smarter choice by beveling the edge to reduce the potential for injury, and make it easy for fitting the core into the carafe.Okay, the wine is inside the carafe and his "chilling." The carafe, by the way, does hold a full 750 ml bottle of wine (see last pic). I had poured room temperature wine in the carafe and let it sit 10 - 15 minutes. You could see, and feel, the wine was cooling down and condensation start to appear on the outside of the carafe. I poured and small glass of wine to take a sip and was a tad disappointed. The wine wasn't chilled so much as cooled (to be fair, perhaps my interpretation of what constitutes a chilled wine is incorrect. I think of a chilled wine as being refrigerator cold, not tap-water cool). I mean, it was better than drinking room temp pinot grigio, but not what I had hoped for. And if it needs a longer time, and refilled ice, then why not just use the fridge?But it does look really nice on the table. I think it would excel at keeping already chilled wine, cold, when left out for guests, or on the dinner table. But for rapid chilling of a room-temp bottle of wine - meh.This is really a very nice serving carafe with the added benefit of keeping chilled wine cold. I took a star away for the sharp edge and lack of rapid chilling.I hope that you have found my review and pics to be helpful to you.
