While Race Face is a reputable brand, the description of this item is woeful. There needs to be a full description of the crank drives this will fit by make and model. Even better put the internal dimensions of the boot in millimeters and inches so the crank can be measured for fit BEFORE ordering. This way the customer knows if it fits BEFORE ordering, and Amazon/seller is not incurring the cost of processing, shipping and paying for return shipping.I have a FSA Alpha Drive, which as a width of 34mm at the pedal hole non-tapered. These boots are a 32mm internal dimension. Trying to put these boots on would be like "trying to get 10 pounds of potatoes into a five pound bag", ain't gonna happen.

It seems to work well and protect my crank arms. However, I typically have to modify the opening a little as to what pedals I am using. But they seem to be durable and hold up well.

They (size small) fit rf aeffect cranks, although the holes do not line up regardless of size. Does 2-Pack mean you can buy only one boot, as well?

I tried a couple different sizes of boots before I got the right size for my e.13 crankset on my 2013 salsa Mukluk. However, These small size boots did the trick. In the pictures you will notice how I needed to use a spacer so the pedals wouldn't bind against the boots. These boots look and fit great.
