Purchased this to use just the handle part in my other hydro, handle is of solid quality.

It failed as an e-brake. It would not skid a tire on the rear of a front wheel drive car. We were so disappointed to say the least when it did not perform as expected. I would not recommend. It is sturdy just doesn't do its job.

The build quality seems good - it's made of sturdy alloy and feels solid. The non-slip grip is nice, and I like that you can adjust the height.However, I ran into some frustration with installation. The threaded holes are an odd size, making it really difficult to find compatible brake line fittings. I ended up having to drill and re-thread to make it work. It would've been great if they included some standard fittings.Once I got past the fitting issues, the handbrake works well for its intended purpose. It gives good control for drifting and rally-style driving.Overall, it's a decent option if you're willing to deal with some installation headaches. Just be prepared that you might need to do some modifications to get it working properly in your setup.

This has been good so far in my e36. I liked the longer handle than the other ones on Amazon. No issues so far!

The threaded holes are an oddball thread size. Had a heck of a time finding a brake fitting that worked, and finally gave up and ended up drilling out and rethreading. Note that I have a pretty good selection of SAE and metric brake fittings, and even some NPT fittings. Nothing worked.It would have been great if this handbrake had included some fittings for standard brake line sizes.Once all the fitting issues were figured out, I am happy to report that the hand brake works great.
