Did not come with the s shaped mounting plate pictured in the description. The mounting plate provided also did not work the handbrake I bought from Amazon. The holes do not align and I’m in able to mount so I had to buy a whole separate plate for it to work.

The mount is definitely solid. Was able to mount my handbrake no issues.The plate for the shifter is solid as well but does NOT fit the moza hgp shifter at all.

I have to be honest here – got ordered this thing for the parts, not for sticking a shifter to a table. I already have the fancy racing sim rig with all the 8020 rails. I saw this kit and figured I couldn’t go wrong. It worked out. I am happy with the parts in this kit (other than the t nuts). There’s got to be a way to use these pieces to put a high quality shifter on my rig when I get around to it if ever. Those paddle shifters on the steering wheel have me wondering if I’ll ever go back to a stick. I digress…All that said – I did assemble this kit and the similar one for a flight sim HOTAS. The finish on this one is better, but not the best. Also, I prefer (by a huge margin) the t nuts with the little ball bearing. This kit came with the cheap ones that have to be on the bolt when you slide ‘em into the rail because you’ll never get them lined up otherwise. The materials themselves are nice thick pieces of metal. It’s pretty impressive from the engineering for function point of view. Whoever designed it must have experience with the mass market ones that twist and bend because racing sim gear is treated almost as roughly as racing gear.

Solid stuff, the clamp was a little confusing to setup, but once you figure it out, it works really well (the key is in unscrewing the circular bit that contacts the table).So far no issues, pretty happy with the purchase. Unfortunately doesn't have the correct mounts for my generic usb shifter, I've managed to mount it, but it is only held by two screws, keeps shifting around, and the position isn't great either as the gearbox is pretty close the table, and I end up hitting my knuckles into the latter

This product does not work as advertised. The "clamp" does nothing as there's nothing to hold it in place. The red lever just falls down every time. Nothing about this design makes sense. It cannot and will not hold onto your desk securely while you jostle around your shifter or brake. DO NOT BUY

This mount was fairly easy to put together, the pictures were just fine, I dont understand reviews that say instructions were complicated? Anyhow, my hand brake bolts to it, the shifter will attach that is on order. it will serve its intended purpose.. However, as far as stability, if you have the hand brake platform real low, like I do, it does flex the main support, so it is just a matter of adjusting where everything sits, which is mind blowing for how cheap it is on how adjustable it is.. Id recommend it..

I struggled to mount a handbrake to my wheel stand for a long time, but I think if I had this, I never would have had an issue. I have the Thrustmaster TH8A shifter, and the fanatec clubsport handbrake v1. This was advertised as working with the shifter but I had to hope that I could get the handbrake to mount. To my surprise it was very easy. The mount is sturdy, puts the handbrake and shifter very close in elevation to another, and is overall better than trying to mount to a wheel stand. The assembly was straightforward and didn't take too long. It includes screws to mount the shifter and handbrake as well. The clamp has adjustability and holds tight. I can't vouch for fitment with every type and brand of handbrake/shifter but it worked great in my application. I plan to sell my thrustmaster/fanatec setup and try the Moza shifter/handbrake here shortly. I will update everyone when that happens.
