Build quality is ok. Lots of burrs and sharp edges. Fit very securely and snug on my PSA but one issue I have with this is that if you have a high or aggressive grip, you will absolutely get bit by the lower corner of the wing. I appreciate the idea but, a little more thought needs to be put into the design.

I put this on my P80 glock 19 clone and initially was excited to use it as it made getting a grip on the slide super easy, however as soon as I gripped up on the handle I was rather disappointed. While it is ambidextrous, the edge of the angle bit almost digs into my thumb and honestly I would be scared to shoot this as I wouldn't want it flying back after a shot and slamming into my thumb (I will attach a photo for clarity). Aside from this I really want to like the product as its quite innovative and makes racking the slide super easy but until I take a file to it I won't be using it and I just can't recommend purchasing this unless you are willing to file down the pointed edge, or maybe your grip will be different and it won't be an issue.

Very nice fit onto a Gen3 G19 (I do not want this review to get flagged by Amazon so I show only limited photos with only close up of parts without any photos of installed parts on slide or assembled weapon). Have not actually live-fired after installation (only dry-fired during laser practice and everything seems to work well. Makes it very easy to rack the slide as it provides extra purchase for your thumb and index finger. The Racker Jacker does cause the rear of the slide to print a little more during CC but this went on my home defense weapon/range-toy so is not a problem nor concern in my use case. Installation is very easy for those of you familiar with disassembly of your weapon (literally a three minute install) and everything fits well into the Gen3 slide. A tip for those that are concerned of spring loaded parts popping off and loosing parts: disassemble in a ziplock bag. Otherwise, just be careful when removing the stock end plate to prevent springs/parts from flying off by controlling with your thumb. Two things to note: 1) the end plate has the symmetrical openings that are similar to the Gen5 end plate although the product page states that it is compatible with only the gen1-4 (see the difference between the stock end plate and the Racker Jacker end plate openings), 2) the stock plate is made of polymer while the Racker Jacker is all aluminum. The black finish differs from the finish of the Gen3 slide (the Racker Jacker is darker). I don’t know if Glock uses polymer on their end plates for a reason but as many 3rd party custom endplates are also made of metal, I’m hoping it doesn’t make a difference regarding wear of parts (e.g. the spring loaded parts that remain in contact with the end plate when installed). At any rate, 5 stars for ease of use with these rapidly aging hands 😂.

I have never had much need for a racking attachment on my pistols, but I can see how they may help those with hand strength issues. This one is OK. It fits my Gen 5 Glock 17 perfectly, but I feel that it may be just a tad too wide. The wings do make it easier to grip, but i feel like those with average sized hands might feel like they are fighting the width of the slide more than the stiffness of the spring.I feel like this fitting could have doubled as a way to catch and rack the slide on your belt or boot, but it doesn't really grab enough for that.Packaging wise, I feel like it could have been better. The little case it came in didn't really fit it, and it was rattling loose when I got it. While it doesn't matter, it has already chipped the paint on the aluminum after less than a day carrying it.In short, for the price, I think this works fine. However, I took it off my pistol pretty quickly and went back to a brass striker plate.

For a decent price can add this to your sidearm, and it will give a great grip area. Well made, lightweight but solid aluminum with a nice even finish. I got black, but other colors if that's your jam. For myself will not use with IWB holsters, I'm "thick" and in that use jabs me in uncomfortable ways. For most other uses it's great - Recommended
