Your cart is empty.The 2002-2005 Factory Bezel is designed to house Single Din Radios only. Therefore modifications are necessary to install larger Double Din Radios. Modifying is completed by hand and often includes cutting the Factory Bezel, filling it with bondo or fiberglass, then sanding and painting or using vinyl to cover. This process is time consuming and costly, until now. This is the only one piece Double Din Dash Kit available for purchase on the market. This Dash Kit eliminates the need of shipping off your Factory Bezel for a week’s worth of modifications that can cost $200-$250. Unlike the modified Bezels this Dash Kit is made up of only one material that will not break or crack when subjected to continuous heat and comes complete with installation brackets, factory systems wire harness for those wishing to retain the factory amp and sound quality without having to bypass the amp and antenna adapter. Basic Installation Directions: Separate the Single Din face plate from the main Dash Bezel then use a soldering iron to melt down the posts to the main Dash Bezel. Detailed Installation Directions: (1) Disconnect the negative battery terminal (2) Unclip the top edge of the trim panel below the steering column (3) Remove the one Philips head screw from below the right A/C vent (4) Unclip and remove the dash trim panel (5) Remove the 4 Philips screws that secure the radio, disconnect and remove the radio (6) Remove the 4 Philips screws that secure the A/C controller (7) Remove the 4 Philips screws that secure the factory pocket (8) Locate the 11-PVC welds and with a ¼ drill bit drill each PVC weld out, you can drill right through the old face plate(9) Slide a flat head screw driver between the old face plate and the main Dash Bezel to separate. (10) Melt the posts of the main bezel down to seal the new frame to it, using the soldering iron. Soldering irons and about $5 at your local hardware store.

If you have never installed one of these just be ready for a long night. You have to melt the old plate out (doesnt unscrew) and the. melt this one in (only 6 tabs to attach but still sturdy). Also note there is a plastic support the OE radio "rests" on that may need to be cut depending on your radio (mine did true DDIN). All that said quality product that looks good and fits well

The center console is the right size but just does not stay in the mounts. It keeps popping out at the top near the dashboard. I will have to use a couple screws and washer unsightly in the console to keep it flush.

Not sure if it is mentioned in the description, but this piece is replacing the center of the bezel. Which means there is careful drilling of the previous piece and melting of the tabs carefully on the new piece. Overall, it's not too bad of a design. The fitment is precise and the alignment of the new piece is extremely easy. I don't think it could be more affordable or better designed for what I paid. Im not so sure the average person is capable of doing the installation, so I'd highly recommend a professional. As a professional installer, I'd say this is a 3/10 for difficulty. Merely due to the fact that it's not 100% plug n play.

Easy to install, while it may sound a bit scary requiring drilling into your center dash panel to remove the factory bezel, this was simple. The fit is perfect, and the epoxy was strong and quick setting.Metra is supposedly making a similar kit, but I could not get my hands on it after weeks of trying. I would guess they are pretty similar, but I doubt Metra will include all the little extras, and probably not be as tight of tolerances. I really hoped to get them both to compare side to side, but no one could actually find the Metra model to sell to me.

I got this to mount a Pioneer AVHX8500BHS in my 2004 Dodge Ram. The fit of the bezel to the radio is perfect. The wiring harness and antenna adapter matched up perfectly. The wires even matched up color for color from dodge to pioneer.The fit of the bezel to the dash console is not perfect. I'm not giving more stars because I let the epoxy set up for 24 hours and when I was trying to mount the radio, the bezel came off on one side. It's probably my fault for leaving it to set up in a 45-50F garage overnight, so I'll try again with a warmer garage and give it 48 hours to set. Also, I don't know if there are different color epoxies, but a black epoxy would be way better than amber for this application.I wish the radio bracket mounted the radio to the stock radio anchors instead of this bezel because of the weight of the radio that will be hanging from it. It scares me to think that the epoxy that came apart so easily will be holding the full weight of the radio when I hit a bump.One other downside is that there is six of each of the two types of screws. It seems like there should have been four of one kind to mount the brackets to the bezel and eight of the other kind to mount the radio to the brackets. I've tried three hardware stores trying to find those type of screws with no luck.

I bought this to install a double din radio in a 05,dodge ram SLT quad cab. The head unit I used was a JVC 61bt(which is almost identical to the one shown in thr pictures of item). I received the item fast by expediting it. When received i got everything together and the radio did not fit in the opening I had to sand and dremel a good 1/4" all the way around just to get it in. Now it looks like crap and I'm very dissatisfied.

Everything fit great and the bezel looks great. The plastic glue that comes with the bezel is amazingly strong. I was pleased to see that the wiring harness and antennae adapter all worked well.

bezel had a nice rubbery feel to the touch. I was very pleased with the quality. It was a lot cheaper than sending off my bezel to have modified, plus if I sell the truck I still have the original bezel to reinstall. It came with everything needed to install, wire harness, antenna adapter and mounting hardware.
