My kids and I took three GM-30s to family camp, and I bought this to simplify and consolidate charging, and avoid having a tangle of cables on the dusty cabin floor. We used the radios every day for a week and charged them overnight. I was so glad to have this charging station to keep the system tidy. It also gave us an easy and obvious spot for the kids to put the radios down in a central place instead of tossing them wherever.

The unit is great but the power supply is cheap, it will fall out when you move the unit.

I have 6 of the Baofeng GMRS radios that we use for family vacations, hikes and camping. Keeping them organized and charged up is always a hassle. This charging cradle works perfectly. It appears to be good quality, heavy and solid. The AC adapter is similar to those that come with laptop computers, not just a flimsy wall wart. I definitely recommend this for anyone with the compatible radios.

What can I say; it works exactly as advertised. The power brick has long enough cables that you can put it out of sight. The charging slots all work. I like that it has it's own power switch on the side so I can turn it off after the radios are done charging.

If you have a bunch of radios in the GM-30 form factor, like I do, this is a great way to charge them. This charger is compatible with the following radios, and possibly others:Radioddity GM-30 GMRS RadioTidradio TD-H5 GMRS RadioPofung P15UV GMRS RadioTYT UV-88 Dual-band Ham RadioRetevis RT-85 Dual-band Ham RadioI am fairly certain it will also work with the Rugged Radios GMR2 and Baofeng GM-15 Pro GMRS radios, and the Baofeng TP-8 Plus Dual-band radio, as they also appear to share the same form factor. This unit will also charge standalone batteries without the need to attach them to the radio. Since I have several radios and spare batteries, this allows me to charge 6 units at one time. Very useful for me.Although more expensive than a standalone single charging cradle, the fact that this unit can charge six radios or batteries (or combination) makes it worthwhile. I highly recommend it if you have several radios and/or batteries of this type that need to be charged.

Well, this 6 bay gang charger works as it should but Radioddity really needs to work on the packaging. They ship in a brown cardboard box, with the charging tray and two cables just in there. No protection, plastic wrap, foam or anything. Things just bounce and bang around in there and get scratched and scuffed up. Power cable prongs rubbing against things isn’t good, causing scratches and scrapes on the charger itself , and plastic parts rubbing on cardboard also creates scuffs.I’m giving two stars because it works as intended but it would be one star for the packaging and scratches. Sorry but just because something works doesn’t get a good review when it arrives looking used and somewhat beat up, and you can tell it was the manufacturer’s fault for not investing in some protective plastic bags or a bit of foam wrap. When one buys something new, there is an expectation it will arrive looking new. I bought three of these and all were packaged and scuffed they same. I’m not exchanging because I need them, they work and I think replacements would just come the same way.
