How to Replace a Spray Nozzle
With water turned off, pull up sprinkler stem by hand or...
Make the project easier by using our specially designed Spray Head Pull-Up Tool that:
- Grabs nozzle to easily pull up sprinkler stem.
- Holds stem in raised position while you work.
- Prevents stem from pulling back into sprinkler body.

2. Remove Old Nozzle and Filter Screen
Hold stem up by hand or by using the Rain Bird Pull-Up Tool.
Optional flush: With nozzle removed, turn on water and clear sprinkler of debris.

3. Insert New Filter Screen and Nozzle
Screw new nozzle onto sprinkler stem. Do not overtighten.

4. Adjust Spray Direction and Pattern
Turn on water to zone and adjust sprinkler coverage. Follow directions on nozzle package.
