I dislike the fact that there was no information on how to adjust the the radius pattern or the spray distance. I bought these to help my lawn water usage.

Did not like these Rain Bird Rotary Nozzles. They are difficult to establish the settings you want, and even after being set ---- the Setting moves every few weeks. Poor Quality, as opposed to Hunter Irrigation Products which are much easier to use, and a little less expensive. Try Hunter before buying Rain Bird Products which seem cheap and flimsy.

Wanted to like these but got two and both didn’t work. I only bought these because I couldn’t find the Hunter version with the same radius and distance.On lowest distance setting of 8’ and using on the full 270 degrees, everything works great on first adjustment. Though, every morning after adjustment the sprinkler would be watering about a 1.5’ radius. I’d reset to get it back to 8’ and it would be fine. But next morning, same deal.Called rain bird and response I got was “it shouldn’t be doing that.”I’m well aware of that and I understand the sprinkler is a fairly simple mechanism but for whatever reason, it could not maintain the lowest setting. I have good pressure on my line and all my Hunter’s work great. After finally finding the Hunter equivalent, I’m returning these as I believe there’s a design flaw.

This nozzle delivers water in a thick steam with hardly any misting. It is also adjustable up to 270 degrees which also works for my irregular shaped lawn. A previous reviewer said they received 3 nozzles for their purchase. I suspected this was too good to be true and I was right- I only received 1 so be warned. With that being said I will buy more and with the increased efficiency and adjustability of this nozzle I can probably reduce my system by 1-2 sprinkler heads.

Throw is more like 6 feet instead of 18-24. Could be because of lower pressure on my end but still disappointing vs advertised. Once you figure how to adjust they are pretty neat.Mine came 3 to a package, which was not obvious in the listing.
