I like the option to put these in their own stand. Everything seems to be top notch quality. I keep them near a window and they're easy to see from inside. Easy to empty and replace. This is a keeper.

I love the large numbers. The blue line also Helps di visually see where the watermarking is. I will say it’s very short. I also had a hard time not bending the wire sticking it into the ground. The true test will be able to see how long the acrylic last.

I don’t have to get in the rain or snow to read this gauge. It’s a lot larger than most. The metal post is pretty substantial and there is also the option to mount it or hang on a fence. It’s supposed to be freeze-proof but I can’t contest to that at this point in time. I’m betting it’ll be just fine. I can easily recommend this.

This rain gauge was easy to assemble and is super easy to read the amount of rain collected. We have had a lot of rain recently after not having any all year and this has been super helpful. Definitely would purchase again.

The Reengull Rain Gauge, Detachable Freeze Proof Rain Gauge Outdoor with Stake, Adjustable Height; Large Clear Numbers Rain Measuring Tool for Garden, Lawn, Yard, Patio and Farm Use (transparent) is ridiculously easy to set up and use. I mounted mine on a fence using a nail and the bracket holding the gauge alone, without either of the included pieces for sticking it directly into dirt. The way water refracts light makes the blue stripe on the back of the gauge appear to fill the entire width up to the water level. That’s handy, I can read it from inside my house.I use it to know whether or not the lawn and garden need water, not as a meteorological recording instrument. I know it claims to be unbreakable but I’m still going to bring the plastic tube inside during freezing weather. I’m not willing to chance ice expanding and breaking it. When it’s that cold, I don’t need to worry about how much or little precipitation may fall.

Really nice in the yard. Looks good. Metal holder should be stronger.
