As soon as I went to hammer 1 of the 3 provided nails in to the ground it cracked. If you don't need to nail it in place I would recommend that you don't. I was using it for water run off from the gutter down spout.

I bought four of these in October and two have broken in two months - including one right out of the box. Not a fan of the material. The functionality is also questionable. One side of my house is flatter than the other. The flat side they seem to work fine; however, on the sloped side I have two giant holes forming from the water runoff.

This is a great idea for spreading out the water in multiple directions. It even comes with spikes to lock it in place if you have it on grass, rocks, or dirt. I got it for under the dog drinking drip faucet. They have 2 drippers so I really need a different solution. I might just move this to where the AC drains. It's made of solid material and seems like it will hold up over time.

They look nice below the downspouts, and I’m hoping they truly divert the rain. It seldom rains here unless there’s a tropical storm or hurricane, We shall see.
