Very well made and a great price. Would have been nicer had it had a bead going around the edge.

I did a great deal of online shopping before placing this order. Some of the reviews were negative and misleading. This is a really great product. As near as I can tell the strap is leather as described and fits my Henry 22lr Carbine perfectly. In fact it required no adjustment at all since I'm 5'10" and not too bulky. As far as I'm concerned you can forget all of the negatives in other reviews and buy this one. Economical and good quality.

The sling is nice and made with good quality leather. The included swivels are a nice touch.

I inherited a wood stock firearm and I wanted a leather sling to match its look. This very wide and comfortable sling at a great price fits the bill. I preserved it with some Bick 4 leather conditioner. This a a very comfortable "Plain" sling. I feel that is a good thing, The simple leather aesthetic matches the rifle. I plan to get another for a back-up.

This sling is made from very soft pliable leather. The maker says it's buffalo although I can't tell one from another. The stitching is well applied and good looking. The hardware included is average quality but fully functional. I installed this on a Ruger 10/22 carbine. It's a bit long for this weapon but works well. It shipped quickly and was well packed. Overall this is a comfortable high quality item for a reasonable price.

The Good: Thick, real leather. Decent quality sling swivels. Wide at the top where it meets your shoulder for comfort. Good quality sling length adjustment hardware. The Bad: NothingThe Verdict: A really great traditional-looking sling. I have mine on my 14.5" pinned and welded Type 53 carbine that sits in a boyd's walnut stock. It fits the guide gun look to a "T" and makes carrying the rifle comfortably a cinch.Thoughts: This is a quality sling at a reasonable price.

This works fantastically well! Perfect length for the stock mounting points on my Marlin 336w! Surprisingly sturdy.I will admit it did arrive rolled up, and the sling held that shape (annoying, but expected), but as an easy and obvious fix, you can soak it well in water, hang it, and attach a weight to one end for an hour or so until it dries. With this you get some extra length, no more curve, and a nice straight sling which isn't too stiff. I'd also recommend picking up new hardware found for around $10 or less (not exactly necessary, but I don't trust off-brand parts)I will admit that the split leather on the flip sode is a bit too rough, and tends to catch on clothing like wet sandpaper, but Im sure extended use will sort that out.No real complaints, excellent for the price!
