Well made durable garden rake. Easy to assemble and functions as should. Made of strong sturdy metal.

It’s that time of year so I’ve started my spring cleanup. I needed a new rake to help me prepare my garden beds for planting. This rake came unassembled but was extremely easy to put together. All the parts are very sturdy and coated to prevent rust. I like that it can be flipped over to do finer dirt work. The handle is nice and long which I appreciate. Overall I’m very pleased with my new rake.

The rake head for this item is comfortably heavy. While the handle seem solid it is hollow and is the weak link in the chain. The lengths of the handle twist together and tend to loosen while being used. That is easily taken care of (twisting the handles back together) but it's a little inconvenient.

This is much nicer than I expected. It's very solid and I like that both sides of the rake are functional. Nice design.

I recently received this "Rake, 49 Inch Garden Bow Rake with 17 Tines, Heavy Duty Raking Tool for Gardening Landscaping Loosening Soil Leveling Mulching Gravel Gathering Leaf Thatch Lawn Care" and it's been a huge help with the flowerbed makeover I'm currently trying to complete before the weather warms up too much. This rake was simple to assemble. Screw the pieces of the handle together and you're practically finished. The welding *looks* good, but only time will tell how it really holds up. I have been very pleased with its durability so far. I've been using it more as a "leveler" with the very uneven flowerbed and it's been such a boon to trying to move dirt around one small scoop at a time. Between helping as a small bulldozer and its ability to help loosen some of the more stubborn roots I've been clearing, this tool has been the assistance I really needed. The only complaint I have is really that with how I've been using it, I often have to pause to tighten the sections. I'm sure it has to do with my personal grip strength (or the lack thereof as I've gotten older and arthritis is now a factor), but I do have to re-tighten sections periodically. I suspect if I can get one of my non-arthritic-handed friends to tighten it for me, I won't have that issue.Priced at only $17.99 as I type this, even if this tool ends up lasting only through this one project, I'd still be happy with this rake. That being said, if I run into issues with it or it suddenly reveals itself as faulty, I'll update this review as appropriate. However, until then I'm until then I'm more than happy recommending this tool to others.

This garden bow rake is composed of robust-duty metal, isn't too heavy, and is quite useful. Its multi-section handle allows for adjustable length, but I like to use it at full length because I find it easier to control. Tines are well-shaped and robust. The metal is described to be rust-free, and since it's fairly new, it hasn't been tested.

I am very impressed with this rake. So impressed, I bought two of them. I was lazy last year towards the end of the year, my lawnmower failed me, and I didn't rake, so I had a lot of cleanup to do this year. These rakes were fantastic. Pulled out the old leaves and the dead grass with relative ease - at least, easier than any other metal rake I've used. It even somehow managed to dodge the crocuses (crocii?) coming up that my wife would have killed me if I killed. At first because the rakes come in several pieces you have to put together, you're expecting flimsy metal that's going to bend while you use it, but nope, these things held up well and got our quarter acre yard done in a days work (with blisters, and we were wearing gloves, so get better gloves than we had). Anyway, would definitely recommend!

This rake is tough. The 17 steel tines make quick work of spreading mulch, leveling soil, and even breaking up compacted dirt. The handle is sturdy, and it feels well-balanced—definitely a good investment for heavier garden tasks.
