The color lenses are hard to switch and you can't control the brightness. Other than that, this one is pretty great.

For the price this is a really decent kit. It's a simple continuous light set so would be great for video and photography shooters, and it's plenty bright enough to get decent results with a Cell phone or high iso shooting in the studio with a F4 lens.This isn't a professional kit, or something I would expect to take a lot of abuse while transporting, but for at the home use or just someone starting it's great.The stand they give you is an inverted collapse type where the legs go up during packing, and it gets up to about 5 feet high. It's solidly built and handles the light just fine. I wouldn't use it for heavier lights with a big modifier but it's strong enough to hold a heavier studio light with reflector if you needed it to. There is a little give even if you tighten it down fully, but for the job it's meant to do it's a very decent lightstand.The soft box itself is collapsible and very easy to deploy and take down. My only issues with the unit is the inside Edison mount is wobbly. Not where the soft box mounts, but the lightbulb mount itself. It feels looks and almost like it's broken. The power cable is very thin and somewhat flimsy. It's fine as is but probably won't take much abuse in a high traffic environment. The softbox is lined with reflective silver and has a simple diffuser cover on the front that's held by tension and velcro. Despite the bulb having a unique look, this softbox isn't proprietary and you can put different color bulbs in.Something really neat about this light is the mushroom shaped lightbulb they give you. It disperses a really pretty light and it's fairly strong. It does come with color caps to change the color and white balance of the bulb. They work well and cover the light completely. I've never been a big fan of replacement caps for personal use, but it's nice to be able to change the bulb from 5500 to 3200k'ish to help match the scene without changing a bulb.Overall, I was pretty impressed by this kit for it's price and what you get out of it. I personally use higher end lights for work so this isn't ever going to replace those, but I would EASILY recommend this kit for someone who wants to quickly take product photos with their phone, or have a good soft video light for content creation work. The whole kit is a pretty great package all together for the price. The only issues I had were the loose lightbulb mount.

I needed more lighting for recording and this did not disappoint! The tripod is well made, strong and durable. The light goes together rather easily, you have to put the bulb on after you have placed the softbox, then the light filter after that. It comes with a nifty carrying case as well. Totally worth purchasing if your looking for more light with different color tones.

This is a handy soft box kit. The carrying case makes it easy to transport, and the various colors allow for creativity. Great kit to have in my arsenal
