Not sure if it was me or the gears but had to play around with gears and O-rings to get axels to spin somewhat freely forward and backwards. Underload the truck has a slight hesitation or clicking when going down steep slope and is very noticeable in reverse. Hoping with time gears will wear in a bit and get smoother. Other than that it runs smooth on flat ground and rolling over rocks.

Gears rotated fine without diff cover on, soon as I screwed cover on, gear mesh was too tight. I made sure not to torque down cover too tight, and I took apart at least 5 times. It seemed like pinion is too long and bound up the worm gear in the housing. I do not recommend, stick with injure or treal worm gears.

I bought the 2 pack so I could overdrive the front of 2 trucks and they work great just finished the install on one of the trucks today

I purchased these to install in the front diff of my SCX24. Installation went easy however during my first yest run I noticed the front axle looked to be binding and eventually caused all the wheels to lock up. I pulled off the diff cover and the inside was filled with metal shavings. I thought I had possibly installed something wrong but upon inspection everything was correct. I re installed the stock front axle gears the same way and no longer have any issues.

Good Build quality, they fit as intended. the only thing is they do not come with rubber washers to help take out slop. I used the ones on my stock gear. test shows that thy are doing exactly what they are intended to do. will purchase more once I see a reduction in price.
