These have the adjustable ride setting and lifted the truck 2inchs. They ride alot smoother than the bilsteins or the KYB's I had on there previously

I ordered 2 lift struts from the same page. I got one pretty beat up looking one in a shredded box with addresses all over it like it was bounced all over the globe and the adjuster knob doesnt turn properly . Now they say the second one is 7 more days out . Evidently they are selling single shocks that are defective returns BEWARE so this would explain why they are not in pairs , I feel cheated maybe I can return

Fit my 2010 toyota tacoma and managed to stuff it in with a 2” level kit on top of it Althought it does ride very rough i suspect because of the level kit on top

The best things about the rancho quick lift strut are the PRICE, and the ease of installation. On my toyota tacoma I had the OEM TRD style struts, with a 1" spacer for a 2" lift, I was hoping for another 1/2" of lift for 2.5" of lift once I swapped in the rancho struts, but I lost almost a 1/2", so maybe 1.5-1 3/4"s of lift on my Tacoma, NOT enough for me, so I installed the spacer on my new rancho struts.I find the adjuster doesn't really do anything, I can't feel a difference from lowest to highest setting. After replacement of upper control arms, lower control arms, sway bar bushings, and links, tie rod ends, basically all front end parts, I now notice a difference when adjusting the dial in the shocks. As for ride quality, my oem trd Bilstein struts road better. But for the price of these rancho struts, and if installing yourself, hard to complain. But I will be saving my pennies for some adjustable coil over style struts in the future.

Although not as good as coil overs. These are the next best thing. And you can’t go wrong for the price. They work well, are easy to install and perform good. All in all, totally worth it.

I put these on my 2006 Tacoma Crew Cab SR5 4x4 and so far I'm pleased with them. They're giving me a solid 2-2.5 inches in the front over the stock springs. Everybody on Tacoma World is a 5100s and OME fanboy and I really like going against the grain so I opted for these with the matching shocks in the rear and the Heavy Metal Suspensions add a leaf in the rear. I'm happy I went that route and the install was fairly easy, no major issues after I realized how to do it. It's the typical one side takes 4 hours the other side takes 2 type thing. Anyway, I think if you go this route you'll be pleased with them.

'09 4x4 Tacoma TRD crew cab.Love the results, better ride and I feel like I've gone from a 2WD to a 4X4, very noticeable change. I'm still trying different settings but these are much better then the factory struts. Feels tighter, less sway in curves and less jarring ride. I got 3" lift but the factory instructions say that they will compress after a break in period about 1/2". I set these on 3 I think. A neg. on these is the adjustment knob is not easy to tell where they are set. I can only feel 3 notches so I guess you just guess where they are, and no markings or anything else . As far as the instructions go they are useless and the internet videos are all different ways by mechanics with air tools. They show tearing everything apart or just a couple of things. I just dropped the sway bar and steering rod. All the people that said it's easy ,NOT! If your not the mechanic type take it to a pro to install, you have to anyway to get the front end alinement anyway. These struts are longer and it's a tricky job getting them in the mount, you need to use a long pry bar to push the arms down far enough . If you install them yourself drive a while,100 miles or more, before getting an alinement since they drop 1/2" after break in and might slightly change the alinement a little again. It didn't feel like the alinement changed, nothing I felt but I'm sure it needs adjustment. Yes it looks better and rides better but they also change the weight distribution more to the rear for better handling and traction. UPDATE---i have about 500 miles on these now and it keeps getting better. Ride is even smoother and handling is so much better then stock is amazing. Corners flat more like a car then a truck and braking is also much improved because the front end doesn't dip and is now stable, this was my main complaint about the Tacoma emergency braking was scary before now stable. I did get it alined at the dealership and the rep said it was way out so do get it done. He also said this was the best way to lift the front end much better then a spacer. I ended up with 2.5" lift. The factory said to use the rear 1.5" block kit in the rear to level but I have installed Air Lift with 15# in them that gives me more adjustment not only to level but also load adjusting or trailer towing.

Lifts the front 3 inches. Drives rigid as hell and makes it feel loose on the road even on the lowest setting. I'm sure great for off road. Took them off after 6 months and put spacers on factory. Same look 100% better

I am 2 days post-install on my 2014 Tacoma and I am very pleased so far. I was a little worried about the height at first as I gained about 3" of lift in my Double Cab 4.0L, but after about a hundred miles they settled in and I'm down to a 2.5" ride height. I anticipate a little more settling which is fine as I prefer a little rake in the rear. I coupled this with a 2.5" to 3" Skyjacker add-a-leaf rear which leveled the truck perfectly. Add-a-leaf ended up adding just a touch over 2" to the rear. The ride was a little soft at the lowest setting (out of 9 total) so I opted for setting 3 which firmed it up nicely. I complemented these with a set of RS9000XL shocks in the rear and could not be happier with the over-all package! A much more stable and confident ride than the factory TRD eqpt. I am anxious for the snow to clear so I can get out on some rocks.
