I took one out of the box and clipped the retaining wire.. I noticed it took about 10 seconds or more until it went to fully extended position..No other NEW shock that I have ever installed, took more than 3 seconds .. I could easily compress it and didn't feel pressurized.. Defective? I would definitely say so!Would love to hear from Rancho about this.

Installed these on my 2010 Z71 and they are performing excellent.I don’t do off-road except for hunting or fishing but living on gravel road that’s not great condition,smooths the ride well..
