When I first installed these they were great, especially comparing to the dead shock absorbers my truck had. Sadly they didn't last long. I got around 25k miles out of them mainly driving in the city. I recently upgraded my springs and noticed my shocks no longer retract so that changed my mind on buying all 4 for a 2.5" lift

It did not include a retaining nut for the shaft.... Paint is on the shaft and the shock body is unevenly painted. I was not expecting such low quality from Rancho...With that said... they're probably the best handling shocks that I've ever put on my truck. I can drive across railroad tracks without the dreaded clunk when the shocks top out.
