I replaced my oem shocks that were about 8 years old with these and I really can't tell any difference. I wish I had just bought the standard non-adjustable shocks and saved some money.

I received two shocks, one of which has obviously been previously installed, with damage to the threads and the top nut, boot not installed correctly.

The shocks are great it’s more the service received the wrong one that not even of the same mark wrong but in the correct box. Sent it back almost immediately within 2 -3 days back beginning of March and ask for replacement which was sent and was the correct one and now they are saying I never sent them the one that doesn’t go for my truck back and charged me for it. But I must say the shocks to give a good ride so look at from a neither seller or from somewhere else ( I painted mine the same color as the truck to keep them from rusting out quick)

One of the shocks appears to beused!Update: I received my replacement shock for the one that was clearly used. To my surprise, the replacement was the wrong item. I cannot believe the incompetence. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

as expected, brand new shocks perform better than 100,000 mile worn-out OEM shocks..... in this case, the "in name only" Rancho FX4 shocks that came on the truck with Motorcraft stamped on them. But I also like the adjustability, these give a better ride than the heavy duty Bilsteins that I've used on previous trucks, while also taming the bounce of a 1,000lb steel plate bed.

Well made shock. I wish the boot was more secure and not zap strapped in place. Functionality wise they are awesome

These shocks were great when first installed back in April. Replaced all 4 corners of the manufacturer suspension with these shocks. August now and one of the 4 shocks has blown a seal.

2012 F250 SD Crew Cab, 4x4 King Ranch. Shocks look good, ride good and took care of the death wobble. Reading reviews is entertaining. Complaint about having to climb under the truck several times. I too, did not receive info about settings. I don't get the complaint about this. I found the shocks online, ordered them from Amazon, online and even paid online. Then I did the unthinkable I found info about the different settings online. Even so I still went under the truck several times as I wanted to see what the right setting for me was. What really sucks and I intend to complain, is that no one was included to install them for me.

Great product and happy I went with these shocks. I drive a 17 F-350 platinum and started getting uneven wear on the front tires along with light death wobble in the steering when hitting a bump just right. Had the alignment checked by two different shops and both told me it was perfect. I had already replaced the steering stabilizer with factory ford part and still got the same feeling. I decided to get new tires and try these 9000 series shocks out. I tow a trailer almost everyday so I set the shocks to Max to see how it would ride loaded. Surprisingly the ride was a hair stiffer but got rid of all death wobble and felt 10x better on the freeway. Over 10k miles on the new tires and shocks it feels the same as the day I installed them. Tire wear is perfect and all thanks to these shocks. Will definitely buy from here on out

Read Carefully. Had to buy 7 shocks to get 4 undamaged. Problem is the shipper & manufacturer's packaging both.Shocks - 5 starAdjust-ability - 3 star (The adjusters freeze up if not adjusted constantly, tears up your hands adjusting and you dont want to do anything stupid like use pliers. I have read guys have had the red adjuster break into pieces.)***Problem*** This was so f-ed up it is almost unbelievable. Shame on Rancho and Amazon both. I mean you cant make this up. I didn't have "A" problem I had "ALL" problems you can, I think.Spoiler - Bottom line I bought 7 shocks to get 4 un-damaged shocks1. Starts at Rancho. They only have 1 box for all 4 shock product lines whether no-lift, lifted, and huge lift 1 box no internal packaging as far as support packing.2. A 0 or No Lift Shock literally can slam around over 6 inches in the box when tipped and shoot right thru the bottom on to the floor or your foot. ( didn't hit the ground but cough it with my foot) I didn't say opening it. I just said taking it out of the brown box and setting it on the bench to open the product box to be clear.3. All 7 manufacturer product boxes were damaged or destroyed regardless of the amazon brown box condition which was a mix of excellent brown box to half of the box wrinkled up aka accordion, including a single shipped shock came in manuf product box and no brown box it was half wrinkled and heavily tapped on both ends.4. The only unit that came in product box only and not double boxed came with a fairly good size dent in the middle of the shock where the piston slides up and down internally. I would bet my truck it shot out of the package and was put back in and taped closed. like who wants that. I have an open RMA for that right now.5. All 7 shocks had excessive tape on 1 end of the box. 3 of the boxes has excessive tape on both end of the shock boxes and still 1 of the 7 shocks shot straight out of the box (caught by my foot) with a wad of tape on both ends.6. THE DECALS OR STICKERS....... 7 shocks.... Not even 1 usable decal not 1. all of them were wrinkled up like they had been thrown away. But in reality they in a loose product box. that is no big I use wrinkled decals all the time im a hobbyist. But when they wrinkle in the manner they lift off the paper they get dirt on the sticky and wont seat flat or lay properly. All good. I put WP dirtbike fork decals and it looks perfect. No Rancho Pride.7.None of these ship overnight or available overnight. The fact i can install 4 shocks in 1hr turning this into a 2 week process was literally a baloney sandwich.8. PERSPECTIVE I hate Bilstein. But this is the steering stabilizer I went with. 1 order 1 unit received product box good condition not flawless but noting to overly comment on. opened package support packing on both ends box was exact fit for the exact item i ordered package was likely able to be dropped over 6ft and sustain NO damage. Rancho fly's out of the box just holding it not drop the box on purpose from a ladder.9. 1650mi trip from CA to AZ back to CA I love the shocks quality so far.Bottom line I bought 7 shocks to get 4 un-damaged shocks

I installed a full set of RS9000XL shocks and a RS5000 steering stabilizer on my 2005 F250 SD and what a difference! The ride is amazing, no more clacking my teeth together over potholes and the steering is firm and there is no more wandering or steering give. Simple to install with a few wrenches and sockets. Two of us had it done in about 3 hours. The instructions leave a bit to be desired, but there are all kinds of videos on the internet. I like the adjustment factor on the shocks allowing you to choose your ride preference or how it allows you to increase or decrease the stiffness based on your load conditions. They look good too!

If you are buying these shocks for a 2011 Ford F350, DON'T!!! I bought this with the recommended steering stabilizer and am totally disppointed in both products. I realize it is a F350 and doesn't have much of a ride but I expected a little bit better ride and performance than the OEM shocks and stabilizer. Truck has all factory settings and tires, nothing oversized or lifted. I made the mistake of throwing the originals out in the trash. They only had 50,000 miles on them and I wish I had them back. Another note is the shocks do not come with instructions on how to adjust the dampening, is setting 1 the softest or is it 9. Buyer must use trial and error, many road tests and many trips under your truck to make adjustments.

Put these on my F-250 over a year ago. Installation was simple and everything was included with the shock package. Huge improvement on the factory ride. The big plus was being able to adjust the ride over a few weeks to get it just the way I wanted it. Very pleased so far with the ride quality. Everybody that gets in the truck can't believe the smooth ride. Rancho did a great job with these shocks.
