This massive shock body allows the RS9000XL to run cooler and more consistent even under the most demanding towing conditions, enhancing performance and durability, and is constructed with a larger than typical 18-mm diameter chromed piston rod. Rancho RS9000XL shock series are engineered with nine position tuning technology that provides nine different levels of shock performance. These premium shocks also have polyurethane bushings that enhance shock performance and durability along with a boot that protects the shock rod and oil seal.

These are great on the tacoma with adjustment for the ride have them set on 5 rides alot better than the bilsteins and the KYB i had on there prebiously

Installed on 2014 Tacoma. Easy to replace and gives new truck ride. The adjustment allows for handling of heavy loads, while keeping ride stable.

I put these on my 2006 Tacoma Crew Cab SR5 4x4 and so far I'm pleased with them. Everybody on Tacoma World is a 5100s and OME fanboy and I really like going against the grain so I opted for these with the matching Quick Lift on the front (they're adding 2-2.5 up front). I matched these with the Heavy Metal Suspensions add a leaf in the rear (a solid two inches). I'm happy I went that route and the install was fairly easy, no major issues after I realized how to do it. It's the typical one side takes 4 hours the other side takes 2 type thing. Anyway, I think if you go this route you'll be pleased with them.

TOTALLY JUNK!!!Bought these front n rear to install on '07 Tacoma before shipped overseas...to my surprize all 4 were bottomed out 1 week after purchase n day of shipment. Cant return them the truch is overseas :-((
