Front passenger was very difficult Rancho should trim back the top stud for more clearance on 2018 Rubicon. I submitted warranty documents but expect to have issues since the Amazon vendor is not listed as an approved dealer

KYB XTREME don't dampen or have anywhere near the ride quality as the Rancho rs9000xl. Rancho rs9000xl serious construction.

I bought these for my new 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport S because you can't order heavy duty suspension on those models. It came on time, fit with no modifications, gives me more flexibility and does exactly what I wanted it to do, at considerably less expense than I would have paid to Jeep if they had offered it. I would buy from them again.

First of all, it is important to check that all parts are there for BOTH shocks before you get your rig in the air. Being that they are rancho, I expected all of the bushings to be there...they were NOT! I had one shock installed...got to the other one and the bushings were NOT in the box. Trouble is that the stock bushings and washers are too small to fit the rancho shock stem....luckily my local mechanic had some that fit, but what a pain to have to stop and go on a quest to find $2.00 worth of parts for a $100 dollar shock.If I had not installed the other one already, I would have sent them back.Thant being said..the shocks really work great! I tried them at a 4 setting and the ride was too soft. I very easily turned them to a 6 and the ride is just right. I can't wait to try them at 8 or 9 when towing my trailer. I would recommend them to anyone who needs the adjustability with the warning to check BOTH sets before you start!
