I have used Tim Holtz distress inks before and the colors are always sharp and clear. When I was in AZ I discovered the picket fence color and purchased from another retailer to use while I was there. The results were fabulous! So much so that I decided the I would order when I returned back to OH (I left the other in AZ for use there). Much to my delight Amazon had the same ink so I decided to purchase it. Free shipping and I only need that color. I opened and started using. Much to my dismay I think that this pad is way old & the ink is probably dried up. It is hard to ink the stamps & when I do the color is not as crisp and even as it was in AZ. I am not sure how long this product has stayed on the shelf but I have had pads that are older than a year that are way better than this. I can't send back b/c I have opened. Very disappointed. If you need the color Picket Fence go elsewhere. Not sure about the sellers other colors. Now I will have to buy the ink to reink the pad. Sometimes free shipping isn't worth the free.
