I installed this on my son's 2003 Lexus IS 300. It was considerably less expensive than OEM so I gave it a try. It was installed about 4 months ago, so far, so good.

I bought this, along with an OEM one from Japan. Needed the car to work, sooner than the OEM one would arrive, so I ordered this as a placeholder.So far, it's been working great, especially for the price. Installed just like a factory one, and has no weird quirks while driving the car. It's been about 4 months now, and I still haven't swapped it out for the OEM. I'll run this till it dies to see how long it lasts. In the name of science!

If you are buying this for your GS300, this is not the correct part to get. This part is 22060-46070 while you should probably be looking for 22060-46010 (6010, not 6070).Im giving this 3 stars since it did not state it worked for the 98 GS but it did atleast arrive quickly in nice packaging in very good condition.
