I love using these brushes when using gouache. They are soft yet have a good spring to them and they come to a chisel edge. I have different size flats but a lot of the time I’ll end up using a #16 or #20 for an entire painting.

After moving and getting sorta settled I thought I'd start painting again. All of my wonderful brushes are still packed and I dont know where they are, like a needle in a haystack. I saw these brushes and it states they can also be used for watercolor. I normally paint in oil. Well I ventured back into my first painting with watercolor in years. But these brushes do not work for watercolor, they dont hold the paint, as well the bristles come out very easily. I was very disappointed in them. Maybe they work for other paint, but I wonder about that too. So in my opinion save your money if your joy is in watercolor. Look for sable from France, England, not from china.

J’ai commandé les pinceaux # 8-14 et 18 pour mes travaux d’aquarelle et de gouache. Ces pinceaux sont très réputés pour leur qualité d’absorption d’eau. J’ai très hâte de les essayer. Je connais cette marque et cette gamme pour en avoir essayer d’autres ronds et ils donnent d’excellents résultats. Le vendeur est fiable et rapide pour l’expédition. Je recommande ces pinceaux pour les aquarellistes et gouachistes.
