It’s a really effective quality piece that has a trigger that the ball runs over. Once triggered it slings the ball at great speed up one level.The only dis-advantage of this piece is that it has to be reset after each use like many of the other pieces.On reflection I kinda think it would be fun to have a few of these to bring it up a few levels very quickly,My 10 year old son really enjoyed it although didn’t find it the easiest to use.

Contains more parts than pictured like a distributor.This is the only extension that adds energy and height and also sends the ball back the way it came instead of forward. There are places where you need exactly that.

You have to already own or buy the starter kit to use this and many more add-ons. They are well made and fun for all ages. Yes, the starter kit is expensive, but they are sturdy and can be played for hours at a time. These accessory pieces are all different and easy to incorporate.

Even though it's only my second day with the flip, I already think it's a great add-on. It only has two problems. Once in a while, something triggers it to flip before the ball gets there, and sometimes even when the ball gets there, it doesn't trigger. However, this is probably because you don't have enough speed. But as I already said, it's a great add-on, so I think you should buy it
