We do a lot of sousvide cooking especially with steak. After the meat is cooked, this handy tool finishes up the job with a beautiful sear. No longer any need to heat up the grill or a pan on the stove for that final sear. Love it.

I got this after seeing similar one on Chud's BBQ and the one he offering for sale was considerably more spendy. this one does the trick and you definitely want some distance from the flame to the charcoal from your arms as that stuff does seem to spark back at you while under super torch mode. Haven't tried brazing any food yet but I'm betting it'll work just fine after a sous vide cook on steaks.
