Looks great till I noticed the drive shaft was not machined or drilled for the drive shaft.

The two gears inside are set up for a over drive in front the other stock. However they are ultra loose the tolerances sucks. All the gears will do is grind after 2 packs or less.

This was a nice upgrade! As others have mentioned, it's not a "two speed" in the sense that it shifts gears, but it provides overdrive to the front axle of your SCX24 (faster speed for front wheels).Love it!

Good & 1 annoying issue.Nice transmission, looks great.This isn't a "2 speed", the front & rear outputs spin at a different speed.So you have a little overdrive going to the front.The issue...the two screws in the bottom of the trans case are not supplied.Not a big deal right, just grab two out of your SCX24 spare parts.Nope, the 2 screws are not the standard M1.4 used by Axial or almost all other aftermarket trans.If the two screws were provided, this would get 5 starsYou can use the two screws holding the spur gear cover on & just leave the spur gear exposed.Don't be afraid to try it, it's a nice trans.Just be prepared to deal with the non standard hardware.

Been using it for a few months now & have had no issues at all, like mentioned by someone else, you need to use the 2 screws from the cover to go through the bottom mounting holes. Can’t confirm the overdrive % but it’s not a lot. maybe 10-12% if i had to take a random guess? Nice little transmission for the price.

So it works fine. But maybe my motor isn't fast enough because it doesn't shift. Or if it is shifting I can't tell. Currently undecided. But it is a quality piece. 👌

The overdrive is great. Gears sound good seems well built. Running a pn90 on it. Warning, the threads in the bottom, are an odd size, do not use factory scx24 screws or it will strip immediately. Instead use the two screws that come with the cover. Thread diameter on those measure 0.062 inches. Would be 5 stars if it came with screws, hopefully it was just an oversight. And then dont have screws for the top but its less important. Cant use the cover with a larger motor setup anyway.
