Really fun and easy to play!. had a lot of fun with my daughter building and flying these little paper planes. The adhesive used for mounting the motors could be better, after couples of crashes it won't stick well but you could use better tape. Overall a cool toy, easy for kids to fly and put together although i wouldn't recommend flying with any wind.

This kit is way more fun that I would've expected. The only caveat is that a large open space is need to get the best use of it. An open gymnasium or outside on a day with absolutely no wind are good places to try it. The template included produces a pretty standard airplane, and the propeller module is easy to attach. I've loved experimenting with different designs to see what kind of flight patterns I can achieve. In a lot of ways, this is more fun than a drone, because of the plane gets damaged, it's only a piece of paper and can be easily replaced and improved upon. The controls are fantastic.

The little paper airplanes fly great with the electronics kit in large open areas inside. I got this for my friend's son, and he is getting to live out his dreams of flying his paper airplanes like real RC planes! He has also been able to modify the kit to fly some custom airplanes too!

I have been enjoying slow flying 2 channel planes in my back yard right around dusk for awhile now. I saw this as a chance to try some paper plane designs, as well as 3d printed planes. The default paper and fold is easy for anyone to follow, while being extremely forgiving, more so than the flying. That said, flight is just as good as my best 2 channel planes.

This thing is super cool! Paper planes fly great. I've experimented with different paper airplane designs and even works with Balsa Wood Gliders!Got a 17 in wingspan Guillows plane and attached 2 kits to each side of the wings. One remote will pair with 2 kits at the same time, which makes flying a 17 in balsa wood plane possible. One kit did fly the plane but barely. So attached 2 and flies like a dream and will go super high.My 5 year old loves these planes, but you do need a big open area otherwise they will get caught in the trees. Can't recommend these kits enough! My sister is a teacher and I donated 22 kits to her classroom so she can teach her 4th graders about the physics of planes.

Great little kit. I was a little too old for my six year old but nevertheless, if I made the planes it works quite well. Definitely geared more toward older kids - maybe ten and up - and takes some practice to figure out. But the paper is very forgiving of crashes and easy to rebuild when needed. This is a great idea and I look forward to continuing to play around and fly with it. Good for older kids or adults who enjoy to play.

I was a little skeptical this would really work very well, but it's a great little toy. We got it as a gift for a 11yo and he immediately took to it. It was easy for him to assemble with a little supervision. It will fly for quite a while on one charge. The controls are easy to use and intuative. It not for indoors however; it requires a large area and needs a relatively calm day outside to fly it.I like that it really encourages creativity and experimentation. It's not just a toy that is used once and set aside, but more designs can be imagined and tried out. A great toy for getting a young person interested in flight and the dynamics of it.

I pulled this out at xmas this year and the kids loved it.They each could fold up their own paper airplanes, then attach the 'power unit' and fly them around.I just wish that I had more than one for them, as there was always a wait to use the power unit.5 stars

There are two great things with this kit, where you can make that paper airplane of your dreams, and fly it around for a really long time. Or crash it, it doesnโ€™t matter because itโ€™s made of paper! You can just build a new one!It didnโ€™t take long if you donโ€™t count me watching some of the included videos (linked on the paper; QR code). Even then it didnโ€™t take that long to assemble my first RC Paper airplane. A few not included AAA batteries for the remote, a quick charge and I was crashing that thing in no time. *It flew very well the first time. It was well balanced and was propelled to obey my control.. but my very large garage just wasnโ€™t large enough. You need a cul-de-sac sized area.. and little winds/breezes/farts/gusts or other influences on it, and itโ€™s great. The controls are simple and intuitive. Still this isnโ€™t for little kids, itโ€™s for us big kids. The design of the simple plane design and how this unit just plugs on with a little included tape. 2 batteries & charger, spare props, 4 starter sheets although this works with regular sized paper. (Photocopy the template โ€“ also watch the video) Super toy and gift idea. 5 stars.

The BriCool Birdy-X 2.0 RC Paper Plane is a super cool little kit that lets you fold a paper airplane from the included template, attach a RC/Propellor module to it and then fly it like a real RC plane! The plane is controlled by differential thrust, so it speeds up or slows down the propellors depending on which direction you tell it to go. It doesn't turn on a dime, but instead makes lazy loops around.Since it's a paper airplane, calm air is very necessary for this to fly well; a large indoor space or a calm day outside. The instructions were clear and the template makes it easy to fold the plane well. BriCool has a number of videos that make getting started super easy. My only issue is that there are only a few templates included and I can't find any way to purchase a replacement set. Be sure to keep on for making your own!

This is a very fun and interesting set! The kit came with the paper to construct the airplane. It has all the lines and tape locations indicated for easy construction. The ad features videos as well so you can follow along. It was constructed in minutes. Once the propellers are in place and the remote control synced up, it was ready to fly.I wasn't expecting much to come of it, as I thought it would just glide a little further than normal and let you control its direction. But I could not be more wrong. It's a good thing I decided against flying this in my backyard, and went to a large open field instead, because without a doubt I would have lost it to a neighbor's yard.Once I threw it, it flew really well. It would have gone seemingly forever if it wanted to. It was fairly easy to control. With the exception of the wind occasionally blowing it off course, I was able to control it to where I wanted to go. The good thing about this is that I don't really have to worry about damaging it. This will not hover, so it's always going to be a crash landing to the ground. But as long as I turn the propellers off when it lands, it's fine. If the paper airplane gets damaged, I can just fold a new one.For anyone looking to get into rc planes, this is a great option to look into. It's perfect for novices, and even young children. You don't really have to worry about it breaking, and in terms of pure fun, this rc plane kit really can't be beat. At $42.99, it is such good value as well.Five stars. Great product.

This is a fun power unit for paper airplanes but you need some patience, especially if you need to use Letter-size paper instead of A4. The templates included are of good quality but theyโ€™re all A4 so you have to adapt them to Letter size if thatโ€™s all you have. It would have been a lot better if theyโ€™d included 2 templates for A4 and two for Letter rather than four A4 templates.Since I had to experiment a bit to find the right placement for the power unit on my letter-size airplanes, I had a couple crashes and the power unit popped off each time - the tape they include isnโ€™t nearly strong enough and I ended up using regular clear tape to just tape the legs of the unit to the plane.Once you get the power unit in the right place it takes some practice to stay airborne - you have to sort of think ahead and apply or reduce power a second before you really need it to happen, since it takes the props a sec to spin up or wind down.So patience is needed to get from your first try to being able to fly around. Youโ€™ll need to help younger kids; older should be ok.Itโ€™s great fun to fly big ovals once you get it tuned in!

BriCool RC Paper Plane, Remote Control DIY Airplane KitA pretty fun little kit. There are 4 sheets of pre-marked paper for making the plane. The thrust bracket attaches with included double-faced tape. There are 2 rechargeable batteries for plenty of flight time.I'd recommend this for ages 10+. The thrust bracket, and propellers are fragile. The batteries have a very small connector which is used when charging or attaching to the plane. It would have been nice for the kit to include more then 1 design for the airplane. There are 4 sheets of paper (2 red, 2 blue) which are pre-marked - all with the same design. The paper is fairly thin, but the wing position is reinforced by the bracket on the trust unit. The thrust unit, while fairly light, is still pretty heavy for a paper plane. So you need a design with a fair amount of wing. The old "dart" design won't work too well.It would have been nice to include a small protector for the nose of the plane. This will almost certainly get crunched quickly. You'll need a few test flights just to stabilize it. The battery fits in a slot, and instructions indicate to shift the battery forward/back to adjust the balance. This isn't designed for indoors - it needs some room. Outside on a day with no wind, or possibly indoors in a large gymnasium.
