This RC plane is perfect for a beginner flyer. The control surfaces move and perform very well in flight for responsive maneuvering. The plane is also very durable and has withstood many cartwheeled landings. Small dabs of hot glue have worked well for minor repairs. I would highly recommend for an entry-level RC plane.

Very easy to fly right out the box. Would definitely recommend this to any one who is looking to get into the hobby. Very good flyer you just about can’t crash it in beginner mode. I’m no pro but can fly it in intermediate with ease if your looking to try this hobby out and don’t won’t to spend a lot of money this is definitely the way to go

great little park flyer for kids, VERY durable. Plenty fast when needed and can fly at slower pace without troubles. The gyro has decent control help for new pilots on beginner mode, Plane will fly best on intermediate though. The controls are very sluggish and ineffective without the gyro driving them, so full pilot control is very very flaky. It's nearly impossible to keep in the air on full pilot mode, and I've flown RC for 12 years. Overall for the money this is a steal, if want fun park flyer the whole family can fly from the youngsters to the the adults it's also a steal, if you're thinking it'll replace a "real" RC 4ch trainer plane I'd say not even close. The ailerons are nearly useless in full control as they have very little throw and are very slow covering even their limited travel.

..and the price is right.I have been flying 1s 2-channels, but wanting to be able to practice with 4 channels.Good flight times on the supplied batteries, plane seems quite crash-tolerant so far - as in surviving 3 lawn-dart landings into pavement. Not mounting the wheels is a good idea if it will be flown into trees much - because it is less likely to get hung up on the small branches. The supplied controller is decent - although I chose to bind it to my RadioMaster TX16s using the V761 protocol.Only gripe is the props: they need to be red or orange to facilitate recovery in tall grass because the nature of the prop saver is that the prop completely detaches from the plane when the prop saver does it's thing. The aftermarket props have red hubs, but the supplied props were all black - as in soon lost...And, finally, a BNF version would be nice. I just had my second flyaway (as in letting it fly behind me out of sight and cutting the power to have to preseumably land in a plane-eating tree never to be seen again). So I have two (2) controllers already in addition to my TX16s and it seems wasteful to order a third RTF setup.

It's awesome way better than I expected. It's so much fun to fly and is a great confidence builder and gets about 10 minutes of flight time

Bought a pair of these and they fly really well for the price. I put a pair of bigger bush tires on mine, and while it no longer does the “automatic” rolls with the shoulder button, it ground loops much less and handles rougher landing surfaces. It’s not the most powerful plane, but the different modes are really helpful for learning. I almost always keep it in intermediate mode to automatically level it out and smooth landings and whatnot. Keep in mind it’s a small plane, so any wind will toss it around. Still, great little cheap starter that has all the features of much larger planes.

My daughter was flying this plane in the park and the throttle stopped responding. All we could do was watch the plane fly away. It was maybe 50 yards away. She jammed the throttle to off and we could hear the motor still going. Waste of $100. At this price it should shut off if it gets out of range.
