13 year old loves it. It takes a beating. Would buy another for my self.

Really good performance, but obviously since the RC airplane is really cheap after 20-30 flights, It will eventually start having wear and tear. On mine. my wing is cracking a little bit, but it is because we crashed the plane into a tree two times but it’s only a little cracked which is fixable with duct tape.

It's a good plane for just starting out, it doesn't fly too fast and is easy to steer.

This thing is a lot of fun for the price. Pretty easy to fly. Body is super durable; has taken many beatings already. The main propeller is just decorative and promptly fell off. The rear wheel fell off of its metal leg after taking off from the ground a few times. Battery life is good, controls are fairly good, though I wish it had ailerons (instead, all the turning is done with varying propeller outputs). Despite that, once you get the hang of it, you can control it well provided there is little to no wind opposing your endeavor.

Took this out to my local park with a pond. Started out in a field, and it flew really well. I needed to do nothing to it. No adjustments or anything, it just flew and responded to my inputs as expected. Gyro works really well also. Doesn't like to take off in taller grass/leaves, but, that's to be expected based on the design. It really tries to keep you from being able to crash it. The only issues I had was turning into the wind, it would actually roll over and dive, but, was not hard to recover. Floated and took off really well in the water. Very sturdy with hard water landings. Even tested it a little bit upside down, and it does pull itself along.Don't expect to do any crazy aerobatics. It's a beginner plane and using differential thrust makes it nearly impossible to do anything "tricky". However, I did find that if you feather the throttle while pulling back on the right thumb stick, you can almost get it into a vertical hover. So, that was kind of fun :). Looking forward to flying this again!

NICE 3 CHANNEL AIRPLANE. FLIES VERY WELL. STABLE.MY SON IN LAW FLEW IT INTO A TREE. HIGH UP. WHEN THE WIND BLEW IT DOWN - WITH A NEW CHARGE IT WAS READY TO FLY AGAIN.GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY. TOUGH.

Took this flying in a grassy field with 6 and 9 year old boys and had a blast. The plane survived multiple flights as we are all brand new beginners to rc flying with no damage. I was worried it would fly a few minutes then get destroyed but it was a very tough little plane! My kids figured out the controls quickly and flew very well and had a great time. Would highly recommend this for those starting out RC flying as it is very forgiving and durable. It comes with two rechargeable batteries and the charger adapter and has a set of spare propellers and landing gear. You will need 3 aaa batteries for the remote. We hand launched the plane every time without any issues just get your thrust up and pull back on the stick to get it to lift and gain altitude then roll of the throttle some while your flying and turning. The gyro system made it very stable and we were able to land fairly gracefully once we cut the power and glided in. I kept thinking of the portlandia skit about instant garbage when I bought it but it was a very pleasant surprise when it was a good quality item that performs well and easily survived its maiden flight with two young children at the controls. Highly recommend!

I bought this plane to examine and help with an engineering project I am working on to build a lightweight UAV and flying it is very fun. I quickly got addicted to flying it. For a beginner RC plane it is pretty simple to fly and can take a beating. Since it only uses differential thrust for turning and has stability assist it won’t roll or loop and turning can be slow. I can imagine that this plane would be perfect for someone wanting to get into RC planes and not knowing much about aircraft control. I only dropped a star because the surface solder on the battery wire inside the plane broke after the ~10th flight and I had to re-solder it. Be gentle when removing the battery!Update: DO NOT LEAVE BATTERY PLUGGED IN UNATTENDED. I left the battery in the wall for 2 hours and it exploded into a massive fireball. Luckily I was in the room to put out the fire quickly. If you don’t want your house to burn down, don’t buy this thing
