this is a cheap chinese manufactured spark plug. it is not a briggs and stratton plug. i think it is a huge branding/copyright infringement for this seller to sell his product while it clearly represents an OEM product by having the b&s official part number labeled. briggs and stratton owns the RC12YC brand and part #. not this guy. these plugs do not have the same resistance as an OEM briggs and stratton rc12yc plug.

I didn't notice that these were not Champion plugs when I ordered them. I assumed being that they say RC12YC, which is a Champion plug, that they were Champion. I figured I would try them anyway. I mowed for about 1.5 hours before I started getting misfires. Switched back to the old Champions and problem went away. Point is, these are cheap knock off plugs and I would advise to not waste your money on them.
