A simple solution for 23" Rack
How do you install a standard 19” rack equipment in to a 23” relay rack or 23” 4 post cabinet? The answer is simple. You need a RCB1060 series 23” to 19” RACK Reducer. RCB1060 gives you the 2” extension you need for right side and left of your cabinet to fill the gap.
What is a RACK REDUCER ?
RCB1060 PEM Nut 23” to 19” rack reducer is a special 2” wide bracket design for mounting 19” rack equipment in a 23” cabinet. You need two brackets for right and left side of your cabinet to properly install your 19” rack equipment
You can reuse and repurpose your 23" rack
If you own a 23” telecom relay rack or 23” 4 post cabinet, you can reuse and repurpose a section for 19” rack application. Your 23” telecom cabinet offers the exact same features as a standard 19” rack cabinet except for the width. RCB1060 PEM Nut rack reducer provides you the solution to make your 23" fully compatible with 19" rack equipment. RCB1060 offer size from 1U up to 5U to choose from
Small bracket packed with features
RCB1060 is design for small networking equipment in mind. On the rack vertical rail side, it comes with both 5.5mm holes and oblong slots. Oblong slots are ideal for situation where your 23” rack cabinet is either little bit too wide or too narrow. You can adjust the width to match your 19” rack equipment’s requirement. 5.5mm holes offers a more secure mounting point to reduce bracket movement due to heavier load. On the equipment side, we have #10-32 PEM nuts preinstalled with standard rack spacing. We preinstalled PEM nuts to help you to reduce installation time. Another advantage of using RCB1060 is, in the event the #10-32 thread damaged by accident, you can replace it. One pair of RCB1060 is required for 2 post relay rack. Two pair of RCB1060 is required for 4 post rack cabinet for front and rear.
