I'm an avid inshore fisherman, targeting trout/redfish/flounder year round. I ordered these jig heads expecting to be able to put them into action this winter, but we just got hit with the polar vortex and snow here in GA, and water temperatures have dipped low enough to kill the bite for a few weeks.These jig heads are high quality, with a sturdy and sharp hook. My favorite feature of the jig head is that it has two thorns for helping keep your soft plastic lure pushed up against the head. The eye's are blood red, and look appetizing to a fish (I've heard).When you look at the jig head from overhead, you can see that there is a flange/collar to the jig head that ends up making it a quite large surface to mate a lure to. Most of the 3.5" paddle tail lures I use (Cabelas, Bass Assassin, Zoom) are not exactly large at the start of the lure body, and it would look odd pushing these up against this jighead. I found a DOA body that fit a little bit better, and some of the Z-Man minnows may fit well with the jig head. This flange/collar I talk about is thin toward the outside, so I can see this getting scratched and bent when fishing around some harder structure.These are more expensive than standard jigheads, and time will tell if the extra cost is worth it, but for now I'll give it 5 stars because of the detail in construction.

These are bigger than I expected. Not generic they are good quality not sure how accurate the weight is to what is advertised. These do bend so would not classify as stronger than normal they are normal strength so if you snag they will bend. Each one is in its own separate bag. Good details, powder coated, very sharp hooks. When jigging these will sit very nice.

I got these heads to use as both a normal swimbait and for my A-Rig. I also purchased both the Tungsten and Lead versions to see which one is better. This is the Lead head review. The lead version almost feels heavier (even though they are the same weight) but the tungsten feels more dense... It just feels weird the way they feel in my hands. They look exactly the same but have a different feels to them. Other than that they are exactly the same. They have sharp hooks and nice bait keepers on them. They also come individually packed in ziplock bags which is nice. All-in-all, these are nice swimbait hooks and a very reasonable price with the option of going either Tungsten or Lead.

These lead swimbait jig heads are great quality with thick paint that has a clear coat finish on them for durability, realistic 3D eyes, a dual baitkeeper which will keep your soft plastic you add from twisting on the hook shaft or sliding off the hook and a thick 1/0 sized super sharp hook. There is a good length to the hook shaft which allows for the use of normal to large sized soft plastic baits that is an issue with other jig heads out there. The design of this jig head mimics the head of a baitfish and is great to use as part of a Damiki rig with a fluke style soft plastic bait. I ordered the pumpkin color in a 3/8oz size which looks great and will match up perfectly with just about any colored soft plastic bait. I am very impressed with the quality and design of this swimbait jig head and recommend this product from Reaction Tackle to other anglers. I have lots of other tackle I have purchased from this company in the past and it is all great quality.
